This two-story home is the epitome of family comfort with room for everyone. The Capeside Lookout can comfortably sleep up to six people, so bring the whole family. Featuring a primary suite on the main floor with private access outside to the covered patio, you immediately feel welcomed and at home. Gorgeous granite countertops in the bathroom and a large walk-in shower complete the ensuite adult escape. Upstairs the kids can flop on one of the 4 twin beds – a set of bunk beds, a twin bed with a trundle. A full bath with a bathtub is right outside the bedroom door, essential to wash away evidence of a day at the beach. Games, books, and a flat-screen TV just to the right of the cozy fireplace are the centerpiece of the cozy living room. You will enjoy cooking in the open kitchen at the Capeside Lookout utilizing the Subzero refrigerator, Thermador 6 burner gas range, Jenn-Aire wall oven, and even clean-up can be fun when you’re stacking dishes in the Bosch dishwasher. The washer and dryer in the garage are ready when you need to run a load. If you must bring some work to the beach, the private office space on the ground floor is set up with a comfortable workspace, monitor, keyboard, and a coffee pot for the Zoom meeting that doesn’t seem to end.
When dinner is over, step outside onto the front porch and watch the eagles soar above the Nestucca River before perching in one of the massive spruce trees in Pacific Seawatch. No matter what time of year you are visiting, the sunset will be spectacular as it drops over the horizon. Winter storms create waves that pour over Cape Kiwanda and make Haystack Rock look small.
