We can sleep 6 in beds and we could probably squeeze in a couple of blow up mattresses if need be. You'll love the outdoor space of this property, which includes a lovely backyard, side yard, and porch, as well as a screened in side porch with table and chairs for a nice dinner, game playing or conversation. It's the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and relax with a good book or a drink. There's also an outdoor grill available to cook up your favorite meals. The back yard boasts a nice seating area with a fire pit waiting for great conversation.
The indoor amenities include a comfortable living room with a pellet stove, sofa, chairs, and a TV. No smoking in the house. The open-plan modern kitchen has a breakfast bar able to seat 6 with a lovely reclaimed wood countertop. You'll have everything you need to prepare delicious meals and snacks during your stay. We are 3 miles from Susquehanna State park if you are a fan of hiking, mountain biking, or just splashing in the creek. We are 2 miles from the Conowingo Damn fisherman Park and 3 miles from the Conowingo pool. Restaurants are in every direction at roughly 15 minutes away. Antique shops, in Havre de grace, Lancaster, and right up at the corner. As well as a sweet little grocery store that has been here for years. The town is pretty sleepy if you are looking to get away but as you can tell not far at all from current life. We do boast 6 churches of different denominations or non denominational about 20 minutes up the road. The praise and worship is awesome!!
This house was built around 1845 so there is plenty of charm, rooms are large and homey. We do try our best to respect the environment so we recycle and try not to use bottled water. I have a zero water system but if you'd prefer bottled water just let me know.
