Experience Coast Mountain Culture while renting this rare, inviting, private, 2 bedroom (1-bedroom/rec room combined), 2-bathroom oceanfront house, pleasantly situated close to Mill Bay, B.C.
A secluded, tranquil home on a sandy oceanfront beach, amongst beautiful forest, with stunning views of the Saanich Inlet, adjacent to the beach and forest of Bamberton Provincial Park, a 7-minute drive to the town centre of Mill Bay and a 25-minute drive to Langford.
Oceanfront Hideaway Retreat can be your escape to attain balance and peace, and/or used as a base to explore many attractions offered in the community.
Swim and kayak/SUP in/on the warm inviting ocean during the late spring/summer/early fall months. Clam dig directly in front of the house during clam digging season, or stay during the late fall/wInter/early spring and snuggle by the fire storm watching, doing yoga, or relaxing reading a good book. A wonderful venue to enjoy year round to relax or be active, to create, rest, and/or reflect.
HOUSE FEATURES
A two level recently-updated, private, clean, bright, home with many windows perched on the ocean/beach front with delightful views of the ocean, beach, mountains, and forest.
3 sleeping areas: 1 bedroom with a queen bed on the main level + 1-bedroom/rec room combined with a queen Murphy bed on the lower walk-out level and 1- twin sofa couch + 1 - twin sofa couch in the living room on the main level.
2 propane fireplaces and 2 bathrooms with showers, 1 on each level. Floors primarily of wood and tile on the main level and luxury vinyl and tile on the lower level.
Spectacular views of the Saanich Inlet from the dining room and perched over the ocean living room, a fully equipped kitchen with four appliances (fridge, propane range, microwave, and dishwasher) that will make gourmet meal preparation fun and easy, a spiral staircase connecting the main and lower levels, and a walk-out lower level to a wooden ‘perched’ deck with several sitting, and an eating area with a propane BBQ and an outside wood fireplace.
WIFI, Bose Speaker, T.V. (no cable service) and washer/dryer.
GROUNDS FEATURES
You will be greeted on your drive to the property by a magnificent forest of Douglas fir and Arbutus trees within Bamberton Provincial Park. The back of the property is surrounded by this same forest. The front of the property then opens up with the house nestled in a sunny, east facing location perched over the ocean, suitable for all ages of guests. The house is only steps from the ocean. There is a long expansive beach to wander at low tide.
Absolutely No Pets, and No Smoking.
Accommodation/property is NOT available for festivities/parties/weddings or large groups under any circumstances.
