Welcome to our fully renovated home. You will surely enjoy walking in the front door to a welcoming entrance and landing area with ample storage for coats and shoes. Up the stairs, you will find a comfortable living area with a brand new sofas, gas fireplace, and smart TV with all of the streaming services and extra large telus cable package.
The kitchen is a chef's dream with quartz counter tops, wood shaker cabinets, brand new Bosch appliances, built in oven and microwave with convection and a gas 6 burner Samsung stove top. The kitchen is also equipped with all the necessary kitchen utensils and gadgets to prepare your favourite meals (kitchen aid mixer, immersion blender, air fryer, and more). Please enjoy a beautiful Americano or Espresso with our Breville espresso machine or traditional brewed coffee from the family size coffee pot.
Down the hall, you will find the updated main bathroom, a full bathroom with shower, tub, towels, toilet and ample storage/shelving.
The master bedroom has a spacious king bed, walk in closet, vaulted ceilings and a beautiful master bathroom suite (fit with a standalone tub, double vanity and glass enclosed shower). Both additional guest rooms are equipped with comfortable queen beds and closet space for your storage needs. The 4th bedroom has a single bed but we can add an addition air matress if requestest upon booking.
ALL bedrooms are equipped with blinds and black out curtains for a wonderful night's rest.
Off of the kitchen, is a beautiful deck, overlooking the backyard green space, playset and ground floor patio. Both outdoor seating areas have propane fire tables to keep you warm and allow you to relax in the beautiful setting after a day of shopping and beach-going in Sidney. The deck also has a natural gas (broil king) barbeque for all of your summer grilling. 2 parking spaces are provided in the shared driveway for your vehicles. Finally, the home has a ducted heat pump for central air conditioning to keep you cool on those warm summer days.
Sidney is a wonderful seaside community with a thriving local small business culture on famous Beacon Avenue (you can walk there in under 10 minutes). Our favourite pass times are attending the Thursday night market and grabbing a beer on the new brewery alley after looking for sea glass on "Glass beach". You will be enamoured by the marine life along the marina with seals, eagles, anemones, and starfish frequenting the area.
The Lochside trail starts at the end of our cul de sac and can take you all the way to Sooke for the serious cyclists. Our location is incredibly convenient with access to the beautiful North Saanich and Sidney beaches, markets and hiking trails all while having easy access to the hustle and bustle of big box Victoria within a 25 minute drive. We are located near the airport and ferries for easy access on and off the Island as needed. Day trips to the surrounding islands have never been more convenient.
Please note that this is our home (while we are for the summer) so it has all of the comforts that you may require and we expect guests to treat it as their own. We have been hosts for 2+ years. Also be aware that the basement suite is tenanted with very quite tenants who have never caused an issue with our guests.
Well mannered pets are welcome. Anymore than one pet needs additional approval upon booking.
