Next to Lake Flaten in a quiet location is this newly built cottage. The house is open right up to the ridge. Living room and fully equipped kitchen in open plan. Large panoramic windows facing the lake with sliding glass doors to get out to a large terrace with outdoor furniture and barbecue. There is a bedroom with a double bed. There is a steep staircase to the loft and there are 2 more sleeping places in a sofa bed. Fully tiled bathroom.
There is a boat to borrow if you want to go out on the lake and fish. Fishing license must be purchased.
SE05071 is next door if there are several of you who want to have a holiday together.
The owner lives a bit away on the plot.
To see and do in Virserum and the surrounding area
In the area there is a cozy little pizzeria and bakery called "Bageriet Björkaholm" where you can buy really good Italian and French pizzas, flammkuchen and your breakfast bread. It is only a few minutes to Virserum where there is a grocery store and a pizzeria.
For the sporty, there is the Dackestupet ski area, which offers many challenges. Great skiing in the winter and hiking, trail running and cross biking in the summer. For those interested in culture, there is the Virserum art gallery and many fine exhibitions. It is no more than about 20 minutes to Vimmerby. There you can visit the theater park Astrid Lindgren's World, which offers fantastic performances with, among others, Pippi Longstocking and Emil in Lönneberga. Do you want to pet a moose? Then you can go to Virum Moose Park. Take the opportunity to go to the beautiful coastal town, Västervik, which is not far away.
