Nothing beats being outdoors whether out on the big open deck watching an amazing sunset or swinging away on the swing under the deck. This home offers you, your family, and friends the opportunity to completely detach and relax. This home does not offer WIFI or cable which allows everyone to spend time together and make wonderful memories. McFerson is a 4-bedroom 3-bathroom home sleeping up to 10, offering a rec room with air hockey and a pool table.
Walking in the door you will see a split hall that opens to many doors, making it fun for not only kids but adults as well to investigate and find out what is behind each door! In the middle you'll look right into the adorable sunroom with large skylights. From there the adventure goes on! There is a large dining table for the entire family to join at for those delicious meals prepared in the open, fully stocked kitchen.
The main floor features a living room, sitting room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and access to the large deck that faces a huge yard for the kids to run around in. Bedroom one has two twin beds, bedroom two has a full bed, and bedroom three has a queen bed with attached bathroom and private access to the deck. The second bathroom on the main floor has a large walk-in shower and separate whirlpool style tub.
Walking downstairs you will find the laundry room, a full bath, game room and bedroom. The bedroom has a full-size bed. Walk out of the basement directly to the yard and a wooden swing where you can sit and watch the kids play or just enjoy some quite time in the covered area.
While staying at McFerson you will have access to the amenities offered at the resort such as the heated indoor pool, fitness center, and restaurant. Alpine Resort also features Netty's Massage for those who would like to enjoy a bit of a spa day. Want to be outside in nature? The Alpine has you covered with hiking and biking trails, a stocked lake for fishing, a beach area, kayaks and canoes, basketball court, 18-hole golf course, mini golf, and more. This home is located minutes away from several state parks, cross country ski trails, and is within proximity to the Wisp Resort and Canaan Valley area. Enjoy all the activities that this area has to offer including whitewater rafting and downhill skiing. You won't want to miss the waterfalls at Swallow Falls State Park or the beauty of the Cranesville Swamp. The town of Oakland is located within 10 minutes and features several restaurants and a quaint downtown shopping area.

Please note - prior to booking there is 21 years of age minimum requirement & must be present during entire stay and is strictly enforced. A Driver’s License will be required and requested for all bookings. Failure to meet minimum age requirement upon check-in guest will be evicted and will NOT be refunded for the entire stay.
**This property is NOT pet friendly. Please note: if we find an unauthorized pet in the home, we will ask for it to be removed immediately and charged an additional Non-Refundable fee of $500.00 and in some cases can be up to $1,000.
No Smoking: If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay $200.00.
Supplies - please note the property only comes equipped with linens, wash cloths, towels, and dishes. All other supplies including dish soap, sponge, shampoo, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper are NOT provided. The guests will need to supply their own during the entire stay.
