Get ready for an incredible and authentic mountain cabin experience that is bound to be a classic on your bucket list. This luxurious, 4 bedroom, newly remodeled chalet aptly called KIMBALL CANYON GOLD is a one-in-a-million vacation rental. It comfortably sleeps 10 people and is loaded with modern amenities that will make you feel right at home and stunning views and wildlife that will leave you breathless.
Kimball Canyon Gold is only accessible by 4x4 or snow tires with chains in WINTER the road is icy and steep! Once you arrive at the cabin and step foot on the gorgeous outdoor porch overlooking Park City in the distance you will realize why this place is so special and worth the adventurous trip!
Greeted firstly by the silence and the fresh mountain air you step inside this jaw-dropping chalet. It is hard to miss the kitchen as its stunning wood beams, décor and inviting charm draws you inside. It has a large pantry with barn doors that houses the fridge, oversized island with bar stools and two coffee machines. You can’t wait to light the fire in the classic woodburning stove but there is a lot more to see.
On your other side you will discover the gem of this magnificent abode, the living room. It boasts another larger woodburning stove and massive windows with incredible views flooding the entire lofted space with natural light. And after flopping down on one of the comfy white couches with a blanket, a beverage or a book in front of the crackling fire, it will be hard to leave this comfy white cloud.
Rounding the stunning iron and wood staircase you will discover a full bathroom with walk-in shower and cool rustic features, including a barrel sink, and Bedroom #2. This cozy corner bedroom with its comfy queen bed and lots of natural light is something special. It has a private entrance which leads to the back porch where you are bound to see a special tenant of the cabin, a Great Horned Owl.
As you head upstairs you notice the vaulted ceilings before finding Bedroom #3, a picturesque bedroom with a cozy queen bed, slanted ceilings and lots of space for all your luggage. Right next door is Bedroom #4 with one twin and one double bunk, perfect for the kiddos!
The top floor also features another full bathroom with antique shower tub and the loft that can either serve as a lounge space or a dedicated workspace in case duty calls.
As the crew gets settled you finally get a chance to check out the bottom floor which is more like a master oasis than anything else. If you came here to get stuck inside and chill out, you can still get your heart pumping in the gym which features a state-of-the-art treadmill, Peloton bike and TV. There is also a small lounge area before you walk into Bedroom #1, the master suite with its giant fluffy king bed that begs you to stay inside all day and watch the snow fall through the windows.
The master also features a giant walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom with some cool features like a massive walk-in shower, private stall, twin sinks and a bathtub with the coolest LED fireplace that you’ve ever laid eyes on! Set the color of the fireplace to match your mood, sink into the bubbles and soak away the stress and soreness.
Please be prepared that this cabin is in the wilderness and there are a lot of wild animals in the vicinity of its 10-acre lot. You will commonly see deer, elk, moose, owls and various other critters. As long as you keep your distance you should be just fine.
It is Park City Utah after all, and the slopes are calling! In less than 20 minutes you can be at any one of the Park City ski resorts including Deer Valley, Canyons and Park City Mountain resorts for world-class skiing, snowboarding mountain biking and hiking. Even better, you only minutes away from The Outlets and Kimball Junction that features tons of restaurants, grocery stores, shops, movie theatre and more!
