This brand new cottage is a private coastal retreat away from the bustle of everyday life and where you’ll find your own private corner of Point Loma, one of San Diego’s best kept secrets. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful tropical landscape and lush green grass with a private entrance. Upon entering the cottage you’ll know immediately your someone special and will appreciate the new and well-appointed décor and all the amenities one could imagine for a much needed getaway.
An expansive deck is ideal for a romantic meal outdoors and offers a gas barbecue, patio area and comfortable chairs which allows for a great place to relax and curl up with a good book, adult beverage or family time watching the kids play on the grassy area.
GUEST ACCESS
The Guest House is located behind the main house. You will enjoy this 1 Bed 1 Bath 370 Sq foot house along with a large outdoor deck with the same square footage as the guest house. You will enter through a private gate that will lead you to a newly landscaped tropical back yard that you are welcome to use. We live in the front house with a larger deck and patio. This is our private space and will be off limits to our house guests.
As we are centrally located near many attractions, beaches and the bay. We know San Diego is the perfect destination for families. We welcome up to 1 young child and no more than 2 adults may occupy the house at any time. There is a full size sofa bed in the front room for your convenience. Please let me know when booking if and children will be accompanying you.
Living on the hill between the ocean and bay allows for coastal breezes most of the year.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
While the Cottage is located 1.7 miles away from San Diego Airport we are located near the flight path. The new cottage is well insulated and has dual pane windows so noise should be limited while inside. The airport closes at 11:30 pm and reopens at 6:30 am during normal sleeping hours.
