These two independent living areas are ideal for two generations of family to have complete flexibility to come together or separate as they wish. Similarly, the villa is large enough and has enough secluded terraces and seating areas for golfing groups to come in force without anyone feeling crowded. In particular golfers can arrive at any time of the year knowing that air conditioning and central heating throughout will keep them in comfort.
Outside
When you enter the main gates you are welcomed by a row of palm trees either side of the path leading to the villa. To the right of the very large plot lies a private 10m x 5m swimming pool surrounded by loungers and an outdoor dining table. Behind the pool is the garden and behind the villa is the outside kitchen and barbecue.
Next there is a sweeping staircase leading to the first floor of this beautiful villa, at the top of the stairs you will find an outdoor shaded terrace with outstanding views of the mountains, there is an outdoor fridge on this terrace should you want to chill some wine and beer in fridge so you do not have too far to go to refill your glass.
First Floor
As you enter the property you will find an open plan lounge and dining area again with stunning views of the gardens, pool and the mountains. The lounge has the latest International TV (via internet and Satellite), wi-fi and air conditioning throughout the property. Off from the lounge you will find the first kitchen with everything you need should you choose to cook in the villa and you can dine inside or outside as there is another terrace leading from the lounge, if you take the outdoor stairway this will lead you to the solarium where there are some loungers should you want to hide away for some peace and quiet.
The first bedroom is down a corridor off the lounge. This bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and air con. Next to that is the family bathroom and then at the end of the corridor is the second bedroom which has an en-suite, wardrobe and air con, not to forget the great views of the pool and mountains to wake up to.
Ground Floor
You can enter the second part of the property down stairs through the first bedroom or from the ground floor. This is when you get your second wow as this property keeps on giving. You enter the second open plan refurbished kichen with dining area, a sofa and International TV. A great place for the family to get together whilst the family meal is being prepared or for children to watch their own TV or sport. Another bathroom can be found off the kitchen, also leading off from here you will find a further 3 bedrooms, a king size bed, 2 singles that can be put together or separated and then bunk beds in the final bedroom. There is also a further bathroom with shower in this part of the property.
At the back of the property you will find a further dining area with a BBQ.
Surrounding Area
You will find many golf courses close to the property with plenty of markets should you want to visit them. The beach is approximately a 15 minute drive if you want to tear yourself away from the perfect retreat. San Miguel de Salinas is well worth a visit with many restaurants, bars and supermarkets to choose from, the refurbished castle is only a short drive or walk and a must to visit if you are feeling peckish. ‘Phoenix Nights’ Restaurant and bar is only 5 minutes walk away.
Things To Do Near San Miguel De Salinas
San Miguel de Salinas is located just inland on the Southern Costa Blanca, Spain. It is not a busy tourist resort but it is a busy little town all the year round and it has attracted a lot of expats. The population is approximately 50:50 Expats to Spanish. Both are equally well catered for and appear to have integrated well. It is close to the busy tourist resorts by the sea like Torrevieja and Guardamar del Segura.
Beaches
The closest beaches are at La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Torrevieja. There is also a salt lake ‘La Laguna Salada Torrevieja’ offering walks and bird watching. The nearest beaches of Torrevieja are a ten minute drive away – 20km of beaches, a promenade, bars and restaurants. Torrevieja is also home to the two water parks listed below.
Golf
Las Ramblas, Villamartin and Campoamor are all less than 15 minutes drive away.
International School
Phoenix International School is 5 minutes walk away from the villa. Established in 2001 it follows the British National Curriculum and offers A level and BTEC courses.
Fiestas
Two major festivals take place every year. The Feria festival occurs in August and the San Miguel fiesta takes place in September.

Tabarca Island
This is a beautiful local island and is a protected marine reserve and well worth a day trip taking the boat from Torrevieja or Santa Pola. No need to book just turn up at the port as boats leave every hour and there are plenty of operators to chose from.

Dining out around San Miguel de Salinas is always a problem because you are spoiled for choice. There are so many good restaurants in the area. Spanish, English and Ethnic eateries abound all of them offering something different.
The Castillo de Conesa surprisingly is an old brick works but it looks just like a castle now and as well as being a restaurant it is also one of the favourite wedding venues. It is outstanding in both value for money and standard of cuisine.
Well worth a visit. If its Sunday lunch that you’re after, Market St restaurant is a favourite amongst the Brits. Most visitors say that they were given too much to eat.
If its genuine Spanish cuisine that you want then Restaurant Dona Isabel is the place to go. For Tapas, Casa Antonio or La Cueva de Tia Ramblera are the places to go.
