The space
Nestled in the hills of Alcobaça, our picturesque 1,7 hectare property is a beautifully renovated farm with 5 invidivual villas perched on a characteristic hillside with 360° views of the surrounding Vineyards and nature, and has its own creek, a few rows of vineyards, an apple orchard, olive and fruit trees, mountain views and a small forest which gives you the impression you're in a remote country side, despite having most essentials and city amenities only minutes away.
The Mountain View villa is a charming two-bedroom 48 m² home of rustic charm with its high wooden ceilings and traditional terracotta tiles.
The country style kitchen provides all you need to prepare any meal as well as a round table that fits up to 4 guests. A sliding glass door leads to the private patio, inviting the outdoors in. The scenery view is nothing short of beautiful: step outside onto your private patio, surrounded by stunning views of the hills and valleys around. Whether you’re having a morning coffee or stargazing at night, this space offers tranquility.
There’s a dedicated enclosed garden section with grass, perfect for relaxing or for watching your small children play in the gras. Picture yourself reclining with a book, or playing with your chlildren, enjoying hill views. The larger bedroom features a queen-size bed and a floor-to-ceiling window that opens to another small patio with garden views, the smaller bedroom accommodates two single beds. The day light bathroom is modern and has with a italian style walk-in shower, adding a touch of contemporary comfort.
The villa has air condition that can cool or heat as required. We provide bed linens and bathroom towels for our guests (guests use their own beach towels for the pool).
You have access to all beautiful exteriors of the Quinta be it refreshing at the pool deck or strolling around our small forest or just relaxing in a hammac under the old oak tree, while enjoying full privacy when in your villa. This 3 bed villa is perfect whether as a couple, familly with kids or friends.
There’s also a communal BBQ area with a grill, a traditional wood pizza/bread oven and running water/sink—perfect for preparing an outdoor meal with loved ones.
The place you will surely find amazing is the pool. Perched on the most elevated area of the property, it feels like a true oasis. Imagine basking in the sun on comfortable loungers, the water sparkling and inviting. The pool deck, thoughtfully designed, provides more than just a place to swim. It’s a haven for relaxation.
Hammocks under the old cork tree: Picture yourself swaying gently in a hammock, the dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves. Perhaps you’re reading a book or simply soaking in the tranquility. The cork tree, with its rugged bark and ancient presence, adds to the charm.

Things to see - We're just over 1 hour 10 minutes away from the Lisbon airport and conveniently located in between many historical sites and tourist destinations. The town of Alcobaça is renowned for its UNESCO World Heritage site: the Monastery, founded in 1153 by Portugal’s first King, Alfonso Henriques. Millions of visitors from around Portugal and the world flock to explore its historic center. Some other destinations include the University town of Coimbra, the medieval city of Obidos, Fatima where Mother Mary was said to appear, Nazare famous for the highest waves ever surfed, Tomar a picturesque land city, Peniche the surfers paradise, Sintra known for it's Royal imprint and natural beauty, Cascais and more.
We're also 10 minutes away by car from the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros National Park with caves and steps away from a medieval park ideal for guests with children.

The Quinta itself has five independent villas with own private patios, and offers a terrific blend of comfort and relaxation, with breath taking views that surround the property. Our pool area is on the most elevated part of the property with amazing views of the landscape. It has an outdoor shower, a wooden Gazebo with a grand circular table, with a grassy opening shaded by an ancient oak tree just next to it.
We also offer a shared BBQ area that has a metre long grill space that can satisfy the grill specialist in any group. There's also a traditional wood pizza/bread oven and running water/sink so that you and your loved ones can prepare an outdoor meal fit for any food lover.
On the lower part of the property, there is an open field with a small creek bed, made up from stones placed hundreds of years ago that has active water running during the winter months. Next to that you'll find a walnut tree that is well over a century and a half old that offers the perfect spot to read a book or enjoy a glass of wine. If you feel like a nice evening walk, or a quiet picnic, please enjoy our private mini forest complete with a small circuit and a stone picnic table along the way.

Illegal activities: All illegal activities, not limited to the use of illegal substances, are strictly prohibited.
Lost key fees: Keys are to remain in the possession of the primary guest at all times during the stay. The keys should never be replicated or left out of the care of the primary guest.
Maintenance: Please inform the host in the event that anything breaks or isn’t functioning properly, and we will do our best to address it during your stay.
Fire prevention: Do not smoke or use candles indoors, and be sure to turn off the stove when it’s not in use to prevent fires. BBQ is only permitted in the BBQ area.
Appliances and electronics: TV usage is allowed for guests during the entire duration of their stay. Guests are not allowed to purchase, download, or rent any subscription or entertainment using the appliances.
