This meticulously restored lower level apartment boasts easy access to metro, stunning design, strong wifi, and more! Just 1.5 miles from the White House, guests can explore all that Washington, D.C. has to offer from our elegant, rustic apartment and private patio!
The Space:
Reminiscent of a New York City loft juxtaposed with a woodland cabin escape; our industrial chic apartment is the perfect spot to enjoy the city, totally stress-free.
We can comfortably sleep four guests as follows;
- King-sized bed in the primary bedroom
- Queen / Full-sized sofa bed in the living space
Beautiful exposed red brickwork invites comfort and contributes to the industrial lofty feel. Clean lines, hearty wood furnishings and concrete flooring conjure a warm, restful tenor conducive to unwinding after enjoying the city resting outside your door.
The plush upholstered sofa makes it easy to stay seated for many idle (though happy) hours. Our well appointed apartment boasts twoTV`s with smart streaming (living room & bedroom) allowing guests to unwind together, and catch up on their favorite shows.
The statement wood accent wall transports guests to a woodland escape, while nestled in the heart of our Nation`s Capital. And don`t miss the darling patio area outside to enjoy your first coffee of the day!
The kitchen includes modern appliances, plenty of counter space, and ample storage for those culinarily inclined. If not, rest assured the neighborhood is lined with some of the best restaurants in the city, so there`s no shortage of grab and go spots, and sit-down restaurants.
Guest Access:
The unit is not shared. Guests will have access to the entire english basement apartment.
The Neighborhood:
This apartment is near some of the best restaurants and nightlife in the city and in our opinion, Shaw is the coolest neighborhood in town! The apartment does not have dedicated parking, but there is street parking all around the building (please read street signs and street cleaning days carefully) The Shaw metro is also a few mins away, which will help you explore the rest of the city too!
Getting Around:
We are a short stroll away from TWO Metro stations: 4 minutes to Shaw/Howard, 15 minutes to Mt. Vernon Square, Convention Center (both run the yellow and green line).
In addition, we are 1-3 blocks away from several Capital Bikeshares and bus lines. The 96 bus can have you at the United States Capitol in 30 minutes, and the stop is a short stroll from the home. Uber and Lyft cars are plentiful in the area as well!
