After a great day exploring all that Austin has to offer, come back and relax at this peaceful home nestled in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from the downtown action. We are just minutes from South Congress avenue which is filled with cute cafes, great boutiques, and more!
The backyard is a great place to hang in the nice weather, especially with the brand new gas grill!
Great area for walking your dog, and there's an awesome playground just a block away if you have little ones :)

Bedroom 3: Set up as an office with a fold out futon (full). Sitting/Standing desk, desk chair, bookshelf. There is a door so you can have a private and quiet workspace.
Bathroom: Shower/tub combo, two sinks, plenty of storage space, extra towels
Laundry Room: Washer and Dryer
I have a driveway that fits one car. The street parking is free around my home. Feel free to park additional cars on the nearby streets. It's a quiet, safe neighborhood so parking your car on the street is not an issue. Just as you would parking anywhere else, keep your car locked and keep valuables out of sight.
We are nestled in a quiet neighborhood, situated just between South Congress Ave and South First Street. In just 4 minutes by car you can be in the South Congress shopping area. South Congress is filled with an amazing selection of restaurants, ice cream parlors, shops, and more. Whether you're looking to grab a slice of pizza at Homeslice, sit outside at Guerros for tacos and live music, grab a cup of local coffee or beer at Cosmic Coffee, or shop at some cute boutiques, this is the spot!
In less than 8 minutes you can be downtown in the heart of the city. If you're wanting to get some fresh air and exercise, head to Lady Bird Lake hike and bike trails in just 6 minutes. If you're up for a 5 minute stroll, check out Cosmic Coffee for a beer, coffee, or just to sit outside and enjoy their garden area. In the opposite direction on South First Street, you'll find Summer Moon Cafe, Toss Pizzeria, among other tasty restaurants.
This is the best place to be to experience all that Austin has to offer! At the end of the day you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and retreat back to this quiet neighborhood.
There is parking for one car in the driveway. Street parking is free and there's plenty of it.

If you are bringing along your dog, I do request a $100 pet fee per stay. I will request this prior to your arrival. This goes directly towards a deep clean after your stay.

*Pets should be kept on a leash in the neighborhood and please clean up after them in the neighborhood, trails, and the backyard.
*Guests must bring their own pet’s crate, bedding, waste care, and an extra towel or two to clean up any messes or accidents.
*My home furniture is not a place for your pet(s) to sleep.
*Let me know ASAP if your pet does have an accident on the furniture, carpets, rugs, so that I can get my cleaners over to take care of it.
*The yard is fully fenced in! However, do not leave your dog outside if you are not home. If you're anything like me, your dog is your baby, and you wouldn't dream of leaving them outside while you weren't home. But I just want to make sure we're on the same page :)
