Nestled in the town of Tonka Bay between Lake Minnetonka's upper and lower lakes, the property has a private dock with one 26 ft. boat slip, an expansive backyard with a fire pit, propane fire table with 4 lounge changes, propane gas grill, spa / hot tub, and a bright and chic interior, primed for making memories. The property is located in a cove off Gideon Bay, on the southeast side of Lake Minnetonka. You can walk, bike, drive or boat to downtown Excelsior. And under Minnestay's 5-Star management, make this your new favorite summer vacation destination!
Layout:
Room for 3 cars in the driveway (garage stall not available), Lakefront Cottage is perfect for families and small groups of friends. A private office greets you upon entry for those who need to work while they play, with a 3/4 bathroom across the hallway. The home then opens to a fully stocked kitchen. with a four-burner stove, dishwasher, and plenty of counter space. Immediately adjacent is the dining room, with a modern chandelier and picture window overlooking the cove. The table comfortably seats six, with two bar stools abutting the kitchen peninsula. A reading nook with a window alcove sits nearby, next to the living room with a big comfy couch and a Roku TV.
There are three bedrooms upstairs, starting with the bright primary bedroom with views of the water. It boasts a king size bed, Roku TV, and a full bathroom en-suite. The en-suite has a large, spacious vanity and a walk-in shower, with dual opposing shower heads for decadent comfort. Across the hall, the two queen bedrooms include Smart TV's with Roku integration, and sit adjacent to the third full bathroom, with bright tiling, a wide vanity with extra drawer space, and a bathtub + shower combo. With high speed internet for those who need to stay connected, all four Smart TV's offer live cable channels (including live local network stations) through Hulu Live TV, plus Netflix, Disney+, ESPN+ and HBO Max.
If you're more the outdoors type, the backyard is gorgeous and expansive, sloping down to the dock at the shoreline. A full-size gas grill is available for classic summer cookouts, while the fire pit is encircled by Adirondack chairs for evening s'mores and firelight conversations. Soak in the hot tub and enjoy the stars. Grab your stand up paddle board for a quick paddle to the sand bar in nearby Gideon Bay. From the bright and welcoming interior to the incredible shoreline backyard, you won't want your stay to end!
*** DOCK: There is one 24-hour boat slip (maximum length: 26 ft.) along the west side of the dock, or the left side if you're facing the water. The owner docks a boat on the right side, and will on occasion access their boat. Advance notice will generally be given.

• All guests must be over the age of 25, unless part of a family unit. Verification may be required.
• All check-ins are contactless! To provide this service, we require a selfie of you holding your ID to verify your identity prior to check-in. No exception.
• Bookings made within 10 days of arrival will require additional credit card documentation.
• Our Rental Agreement must be signed prior to arrival. This will require your email address. Please inquire about the terms and conditions prior to booking. More info can be found on the Minnestay website, under Guest Services - Rental Policies.
• Minnestay uses a third-party to screen the identity and check criminal databases for all guests in order to confirm a reservation. Guests will be required to complete the screening by responding to an email sent by the third-party. Complete terms regarding guest screening can be found on the Safely website, under Terms.
• No smoking inside of the home.
• This property may have a noise monitoring device on the interior of the home. Additional noise monitoring devices may be located in gathering spaces on the exterior of the home, as well.
• No events - This home is designed for families and responsible adults. Restrictions include, but are not limited to: Weddings and wedding celebrations, bachelorette/bachelor gatherings, and reunions.
• No pets allowed!
• Please respect the home and clean up after yourself!
• Quiet Hours: 10PM-7AM. We love our neighbors!! Please be respectful of the permanent residents on either side of this property.
• Direct bookings or other online booking sources may be subject to a 3% cancellation fee.
Deviation from these rules can result in an eviction from the premises with no refund, as stated in the signed rental agreement.
