Casa Carol is a luxury villa with a large private heated pool 9.5M x 4.5M. Free Fibre WiFi internet available. The house is set on a mountain overlooking a valley with breathtaking mountain forest views. This modern split level villa has spacious rooms, a separate games room with a full size pool table and dartboard. There are 2 Smart LCD TV’s. The first smart LCD 56" TV is downstairs in the large living room. The second Smart TV 42' is upstairs in the twin bedroom, which can be used for the XBOX 360 (250GB) and playstation PS4. Also available is a stereo/CD player, board games, and a selection of books to read. Two leather sofas, a dining room table and 8 chairs, a separate hall, kitchen and utility room. Outside there is a BBQ and two terrace areas, one with a rattan table, chairs and parasol to seat 8 people, around the pool area there is a a rattan corner sofa, 8 sun loungers, also other seating areas around the gardens to sit and relax in. The pool area is a sun trap and receives full sun all day. Although there are some areas to shade and keep cool from the hot sun, also there is a retractable awning. Private parking. Within 10-30 minute drive you can find go-karting, bowling, surfing, fishing, golf, cinema, and bike and kayak hire at the Obidos lagoon.

The town of Obidos holds a number of festivals throughout the year. These include the medieval festival in July or August (dates can vary from year to year) which cannot be missed, the town of Obidos comes alive with locals displaying medieval costume, food and dance. The highlight being a stroll around the medieval village with its display of entertainment, local crafts, food and great wine. Also in July (dates can vary from year to year) is the famous wine festival in Bombarral. The Christmas festival held from December to January that will have the kids in amazement as it feels like a magic kingdom with Christmas trees and lights lining the cobbled streets, artificial snow and the castle walls covered in a band of Christmas lights. You can skate on the ice rink or wiz down the snow slides, It is a wonderful place to ring in the new year. There is also a chocolate festival in February (dates can vary from year to year) where everything is made out of chocolate, life size chocolate statues on view and of course chocolate to eat and drink.
There is a daily market in Caldas da Rainha in the square everyday that sell fresh fish, fruit etc. However the biggest market is every Monday from 9-12 noon, not far from the square up the hill.2km This market sells everything you could possible want . . It's certainly worth a visit.
