This two-story home sits on almost an acre of land, with plenty of lawn and patio space for spending time outdoors. Here in the outskirts of Dallas, you'll be especially close to the well-preserved Civil War battlefield at Pickett's Mill State Historic Site (one mile). Head into the charming downtown (five miles) to meet up with the Silver Comet Trail (a paved path connecting Atlanta and the Alabama state line) or catch a show at the Dallas Theater.
But you need not leave the property to have a wonderful time here. Sip your morning coffee on the deck out back and take in the view of the pool, the patio, and the surrounding woods. Back inside, prepare a homemade breakfast in the kitchen and sit down for pancakes at the table or the breakfast bar overlooking the living room.
There's no shortage of spaces to gather in the evenings. Set up a board game at the kitchen table, stream movies by the electric fireplace in the living room, or head downstairs for nine ball in the billiard room or big football games on multiple TVs in the media room.
