Perched at the intersection of 4 tidal bodies of water, this serene, waterfront home with mature gardens is a secluded haven, yet a short drive from shops and restaurants of nearby villages of Boothbay Harbor, Damariscotta, and Wiscasset.
The house is tranquil, minimalist, and updated with modern amenities. Many windows and skylights bring in the breathtaking water views to the open living and dining rooms, and kitchen. The adjoining screened-in porch is a pleasant place to relax, allowing in the ocean breeze. It has the best views in the house, with floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors on 3 sides. The master bedroom, den, and a bathroom with shower are on the ground floor, and two additional bedrooms and a second bathroom (with tub) is on the second floor. The multilevel deck with a dining table and barbecue steps down to the backyard, where you can relax on Adirondack and hammock chairs. A short path leads to the house's private dock.
Take an early morning kayak among the cormorants, heron, bald eagle and seals; sail to a nearby island; fish in front of your own property. Spend the afternoon reading your favorite book in the hammock, while glancing at the glistening water. Take a day trip to the nearby Monhegan Island, play mini golf with the kids, or try your hand at pickle ball in a nearby Boothbay court. Visit one of many excellent nearby restaurants, or enjoy a homemade dinner inspired by an array of international cookbooks. Eat on the deck with the sounds of birds at sunset. Play a board game; curl up in the den streaming a movie on the 55"HD TV; and finally retire with your down pillow in one of the 3 bedrooms.

Our house is only a 15 minute drive from the shops and restaurants of Boothbay harbor and Damariscotta, and less than 10 minutes from Wiscasset. We are minutes from a variety of hiking trails, Coastal Maine Botanical Garden, local micro breweries, Edgecomb Potters, and renown oyster farms. Pemaquid Point Light house and Sandy Beach are 25 minutes away, Bowdoin College is a 30 minute drive, Freeport is 40 minutes away, and Portland and Camden are both a 1 hour drive.
The house has four kayaks for your use. Please use life vests at all times.

WATERFRONT LIABILITY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND WAIVER: Our Property has a waterfront location. Guest and their guests and invitees will use the waterfront and river/ocean at their own risk and at all times in a safe and responsible manner. Owners will not be held responsible for any injuries sustained by Guest, its guests or invitees. Guest agrees to indemnify Owner and Legacy and their respective agents and representatives for, and save them harmless from, any and all injury, loss, claim, damage, liability, and expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) in connection with loss of life, personal injury, or damage to property in connection with the use by Guest, its guests or invitees of the waterfront and river/ocean.
WATERCRAFT LIABILITY ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND WAIVER This Watercraft Liability Acknowledgment and Waiver (this “ Waiver”) is hereby incorporated into the Vacation Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) for rental of the vacation rental property specified in the Agreement (“Property”). In consideration for the right to use watercraft recreational equipment, Renter agrees to inform all other guests and persons accessing the Property (collectively, “Occupants”) of the terms of this Waiver, and to ensure that all Occupants understand and comply with the Waiver terms. The Property may include the use of one or more kayaks, paddleboards, boogie-boards, or other unpowered watercraft (the “Watercraft”). Due to weather and water conditions, the Watercraft may not be functional or safely usable at the time of your stay. USE OF WATERCRAFT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. Renter and Occupants acknowledge that access to and use of the Watercraft, can be dangerous, and that boating and swimming are inherently dangerous recreational activities with risks of BODILY INJURY AND DEATH (including but not limited to drowning). Renter and Occupants agree to assume all of the risks, known and unknown, associated with the use of Watercraft. Renter and Occupants agree to take all necessary preventative measures to avoid risks of injury and death. Children should be supervised by an adult at all times when using the Watercraft. RENTER AND OCCUPANTS HEREBY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO BRING SUIT AGAINST THE OWNERS FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, OR ANY OTHER LOSSES OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USE OF THE WATERCRAFT. ADDITIONALLY, RENTER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS FROM THE RENTER, OCCUPANTS, OR THEIR HEIRS AND NEXT OF KIN THAT RESULT IN ANY LOSSES, COSTS (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES), DAMAGES OR EXPENSES ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH USE OF WATERCRAFT, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE INHERENT RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH USE OR THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES. Maine Boating LAW for Watercraft Under 16 feet in length • If your boat is less than 16 feet long, or is a canoe or kayak of any length, you must have a wearable Type l, ll, or lll PFD for each person on board. • MANDATORY WEARING OF PFD: Children 10 years of age and under must wear a Type l, ll, or lll PFD while on board all watercraft.
