This is an elegant apartment situated in a period building only a few metres from Piazza Politeama, in the centre of Palermo. The flat has recently been refurbished, making it more comfortable, especially thanks to the double glazed windows. The principal bedroom, with the antique tiled floor and the vaulted ceiling, is very large and well lit, and has a balcony overlooking the street that leads to the Politeama. The second bedroom is furnished with a bookcase in the corner, a queen size bed and a wardrobe. On the adjacent terrace there is a veranda with a big wash basin with a washing machine. However, the most pleasing features in this terrace are two tiled wall seats whose traditional motives can also be found in the kitchen and bathroom, plus some plants and ceramic pots and decorations made by a local artist. In the modern bathroom there is a shower and also a bidet. The completely refurbished kitchen is next to the sitting room, where there is a comfortable bed, an armchair and a dining table with six chairs. This room has also an ancient tiled floor and a vaulted ceiling. The living room leads onto a small terrace, where guests can have their breakfast alfresco. In the apartment there are two air conditioning machines that keep the place cool in Summer and warm in the Winter days.
