Lightkeepers Retreat is centrally located to the best of what the central Oregon coast has to offer and is the perfect home to retreat to after an active day of exploring.
This interesting cross gable architecture gives each floor of this 3 story home its own character. The entry level has a cozy den for watching your favorite movie or just snuggling up with a good book. One bedroom with two twins and a full size bed can be found on this floor with a bathroom in the hall. A full kitchen is available on this floor, too, for extra oven or refrigerator space! Walk up a flight of stairs and find another living space, kitchen and dining room with a large dining table - perfect for a large gathering. Cozy up to the wood burning fireplace and enjoy time spent with family. You will start to see the sloped walls of the gable roof which adds something special to the space. Step out on the deck to enjoy the sea breeze, peeks of the ocean and the sounds of the sea. There is another bedroom on the second floor with a queen bed and a bath in the hall. One more floor up you will find three more bedrooms, all with peaked ceiling and exposed beams. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and its own balcony to enjoy the ocean view. The other two bedrooms have a queen bed and a full bed. A bath in the hallway, with a bathtub and double vanity, is shared by these three bedrooms.
Ready for some fun? Step out to the studio next to the main house and enjoy a rousing game of pool while the string lights overhead make this a delightful space to spend with family and friends. Upstairs in the studio is a large open space with a balcony that can be used for retreat gatherings, meetings, or a calm session of yoga.
The large private yard with a floating deck set amidst the grass is a wonderful place to relax and soak up the sun. It's the perfect place to romp, play, and picnic - guests will love the warmth of this home! The enclosed hot tub can be enjoyed any season and is truly a relaxing spot after a day of exploring. Only a block away is a fabulous viewpoint to see the Yaquina Head Lighthouse. Beach access is across the street and just up the road past one house. For easy access to sandy beaches, both Beverly Beach State Park to the north or Agate Beach State Wayside to the south are available via automobile.
