Welcome to your home away from home with stunning, west-facing, sunset views and everything you would expect from a 3000 sqft luxury cottage on Jacks Lake in Burk's Falls. Situated on almost 3 acres of land, our cottage was built in 2018 and has all the modern amenities in a tranquil and family oriented space. Enjoy 220 ft of beautiful waterfront with shallow, sand entry. Go canoeing, kayaking or enjoy the pedal boat. Large main level deck. Lower level walkout. *NEW* Starlink internet. Up to 50Mbps. Central Air Conditioning.
During the summer high season, Friday - Friday Weekly rentals only.
Check-in after 5pm, check out before 11am.

NOTE: Guests to provide their own bedding (pillows, sheets, blankets) and all towels for indoor and outdoor use.
The cottage is warm, inviting and perfect for families wishing to get away and enjoy some together time overlooking the lake, enjoying the water, sun, sand and starry nights.
The main level of the cottage has 3 bedrooms;
i) Master with King bed, 3 piece ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet, 6-drawer dresser, and walkout to deck
ii) Queen bed, closet, dresser, nightstand, lamp
iii) Double bed, closet, nightstand, lamp, chair.
The Main bathroom is 4-piece.
There is an open concept kitchen/living/dining area with direct access to a large deck overlooking Jacks Lake. Relax on the sun-drenched deck or enjoy a meal at the outdoor dining table. Main floor laundry facilities including an iron and ironing board are also available for use.
A propane BBQ is located on a small deck off of the kitchen/dining area. The home has central air conditioning.
The lower level offers a 4th bedroom suite with Queen bed and private sitting area, large closet, 2 nightstands, lamp and large floor mirror. There is a large recreation room with ping pong table, foozball table, a 55" TV with Chromecast and a large sitting area for playing games, reading a book or relaxing. A large, 4-piece bathroom is also found on the lower level. Please note that during any power outage the lower level bathroom must not be used.
The lower level is a direct walkout to the waterfront area where you will find 6 brightly coloured Muskoka chairs to sit at the water's edge. Jumbo Jenga and Washer Toss Games are available to be played in the large yard.
All 4 bedrooms have breath-taking lake views, cordless blinds or curtains, ample closet space and tasteful decor. The ceilings on the main and lower levels are all 9ft with the exception of kitchen/family/dining area which peaks at approximately 20 ft.
Our cottage is equipped with a 65" Samsung Smart TV in the main living area. The master bedroom has a small TV with a that you can connect your laptop or other device to via HDMI cable. The lower level family room has a 55" TV with Chromecast. Log into any of your streaming services to watch during your stay.
There is a fire pit surrounded by benches. Guests must check the Armour / Burk's Falls Fire Department website daily to verify the fire rating and follow all rules and requirements in regards to the fire ratings or bans. Guests must bring their own or purchase firewood locally.
2 kayaks, a canoe and a pedal boat are available for your use throughout the rental.
The cottage is serviced by a septic system. No flushing of any feminine hygiene products, dental floss, flushable wipes, food or garbage.

We have a drilled well with a full water treatment system. The water is tested twice yearly and is safe for drinking and cooking.
Located approximately 2.5 hours north of Toronto and only 10 mins off HWY 11, makes our cottage very easy to get to. The small towns of Burk's Falls (10mins) and Sundridge (20mins) offer everything you would need during your stay, including a variety of quaint restaurants, LCBO, grocery stores, shops, bowling alley and more. Huntsville is a short 30 minute drive away and offers a wide variety of amenities and entertainment.
Jacks Lake has a perimeter of 5.8 kms and a maximum depth of 4 meters, ideal for swimming, water activities, boating, seadoos, fishing and more. There is a public boat launch prior to our private road which allows you to launch your boat or seadoo should you wish to bring one.
Golfers can enjoy nearby The Ridge Golf Club, Almaguin Highlands Golf & Country Club (Katrine Golf) or Ahmic Lake Golf Course. Many hiking trails including High Rock Park trail, Clear Lake Trail and the many adventures awaiting you at Arrowhead Provincial Park. The cottage is located on ATV and snowmobile trails. Don't forget to check out the Midlothian Castle and Screaming Heads exhibit.

No smoking/vaping in doors or near open windows or doors (please clean up all smoking related garbage and dispose of safely)

You will have full access of the house and property except for the utility room and 1 lower level room (both locked and used for Owner storage). There is also no access to the 2 outdoor storage sheds or their contents.
Guest must be at least 30 years of age to book.
Please note that while the cottage does have an indoor, wood-burning fireplace, guests are not permitted to use the fireplace.
Trash is guest’s responsibility, please take all trash, recycling and all other refuse with you at the end of your stay.
Alternatively, there is a landfill site (Tri R Landfill Site) located at 141 Chetwynd Road where garbage and recycling may be taken at the end of your stay. Garbage is $3 per bag and must be in clear bags. Recycling is free. Several clear bags are left for your use during your stay. Landfill site hours are: Thursday to Monday 10am-5pm. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
