Just a short walk to Lake Michigan’s majestic shores, this gorgeous vacation home surrounded by woods features a spacious open design, vaulted ceilings, superb styling and furnishings throughout, fireplace, chef’s kitchen, great workstation, large deck w/ grill, fire pit and huge yard. The bedrooms are spacious, beautifully appointed and have comfy, high-quality beds and linens. Each bathroom has premium fixtures - the Master BA has a tile walk-in shower. And a fabulous beach is 2 mins. away!
THE SPACE
Just off the front entrance, you’ll find a large, first-class workstation with 2 desks, 2 work-from-home monitors, a record player with a nice vinyl collection, and cozy seating. Move further into the home and you’re drawn into an elegant “open floor design” living space with fireplace, dining area (w/ a highchair that attaches to a dining chair), and a large, modern chef’s kitchen where you can use the ample prep space and new appliances to whip up some delicious meals. Plus, there’s bar top seating around a stone-top island for enjoying a drink, snack or even a meal.
Just off the kitchen is a super-inviting “three seasons” room with comfortable sofas and a large table perfect for board games. (And we’ve got a number of board games, Giant Scrabble game, and magazines galore.) Head downstairs to enjoy relaxing in a fully-loaded entertainment area. With a flat-screen TV, Wii-console and a putting game, plus plenty of comfy seating, you have everything you need for movie nights, some personal chilling out time or a young adult hang-out space. There’s also a garage space with a ping pong table and 4 cruiser bikes. We want to mention the home also has a whole-house air purification system and whole-house generator (if needed).
While all 3 bedrooms are large, beautifully designed and super-comfortable, the Master bedroom has some deluxe touches, including great views, a flat-screen TV and an En Suite bathroom. Just off the upstairs living space is a hallway that leads to the home`s remaining 2 bedrooms. The first has a Queen bed and the other features twin bunk beds and an additional Queen bed.
SLEEPING CONFIGURATION
Master Bedroom: 1 queen bed + ensuite bathroom w/ walk-in shower
Bedroom 2: 1 queen bed
Bedroom 3: 1 Twin bunk bed and 1 queen bed and 1 queen bed
The Master bedroom has its own Ensuite bathroom featuring a walk-in stone tile shower and premier fixtures and décor. Down the hall between the other 2 bedrooms is the main bathroom for the first floor of the home, while downstairs there’s another full bathroom -- both of these also are stylish and have excellent fixtures.
Whether you fancy relaxing on the deck, barbecuing outside (with a natural gas grill) or gathering around the large fire pit area in Adirondack chairs with a drink, there’s plenty of outdoor seating (including small beach chairs), perfect for a sunny day or starry evening. Also, alongside the fire pit is a box with a Giant Jenga game, corn hole, a bocce ball set and beach toys.
So besides being just a stone’s throw from a superb Lake Michigan beach, you can also enjoy the many activities afforded by the region’s largest recreational harbor, all sorts of woodland, lake and riverside parks with hiking and biking trails galore, nearby New Buffalo’s Oselka Park, which has baseball fields, playground equipment and tennis courts, or the many popular restaurants, galleries and boutique shops of downtown New Buffalo (just a hop, skip and a jump from Michiana). Wade’s Cabin is a stunning vacation spot, providing endless opportunities to create lasting vacation memories with family and friends.

For guests that would like to bring pets we agree that pets are part of the family, and we welcome up to two (2) dogs here. All pets must be authorized at time of booking - email us immediately for pet approval if you plan to bring your dog.
