This sun-splashed home is located in Manset, a small village just two miles south of Southwest Harbor on the quietside of Mount Desert Island. Here at the mouth of Somes Sound, you'll be only three miles from the edge of Acadia, five miles north of the Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, and 16 miles southwest of Bar Harbor.
Come home from an afternoon of kayaking or hiking to relax in the casual living space, where you'll find an open floor plan, tile floors, and a comfortable leather sofa and armchair. Open the curtains to let in the summer sun, use the free WiFi to share photos of the day's adventures, and gather around the coffee table with a deck of cards or a board game.
Move into the adjacent full kitchen to pull fresh lobsters from the refrigerator, shuck some corn at the eat-in table, and get your favorite ingredients ready for a summer evening barbecue. You'll have standard appliances to assist with the cooking, as well as a gas grill just outside on the deck.
