Sleeping up to four guests, Beam End Cottage is perfect for family holidays, couples escapes and getaways with friends.
The Space:
Beam End Cottage has been recently refurbished to the highest standard so you can expect stunning interiors throughout. The property boasts a cosy and welcoming living room with two comfy sofas and a flat screen TV where you can unwind after a busy day of exploring.
Ultra modern and sophisticated, the kitchen diner features dark grey cabinets and a wooden dining table with leather chairs. Perfect for preparing and enjoying meals with your loved ones, the kitchen diner has everything you could need to make the most of your self-catering stay.
Take the stairs up to the first floor and you’ll find two bedrooms and the family bathroom. The master bedroom benefits from a double bed and the second bedroom is a twin, which can also be made into a king size bed if this is more suitable for your stay. Both rooms boast premium bed linens and plush bedding to ensure you have the best sleep possible.
The family bathroom includes a walk-in shower, WC and basin.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full cottage. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There is free on site parking for one vehicle. If you’re travelling with more than one vehicle, there is free public parking throughout the village and we will send full details prior to your arrival.

Beam End Cottage is located in the conservation village of Snainton in North Yorkshire, on the A170 between Scarborough and Pickering. A hidden gem, this beautiful village is perfect for walks, hikes and picnics with the most incredible views across the Vale of Pickering. Snainton Golf Centre is minutes away where you enjoy a fun game of 9-hole golf or use the 18 bay driving range, and there is also a horse riding centre in Snainton too. If you’re looking for a relaxed lunch or a delicious evening meal, The Coachman Inn is located on the west side of the village and it serves great food!
Snainton is located perfectly between the popular towns of Scarborough and Pickering, and offers easy access to the market town of Helmsley with its Castle, the picturesque village of Thornton-Le-Dale, the Dalby Forest, and York, as well as the popular resorts of Filey and Whitby.

If it’s outdoor fun you’re looking for, The Open Air Theatre is a short 20 minute walk from the house where you can see amazing bands, singers and comedians. There is also the Sky Trail Adventure and Peasholm Park nearby.
Getting Around:
Beam End Cottage is within walking distance of all that Snainton has to offer and within 25 minutes’ drive time of Scarborough and Pickering.
Seamer Train Station is a short 15 minute drive away and has routes to Scarborough, York and Sheffield.
The East Yorkshire 128 bus route travels between Scarborough and Helmsley with stops in Thornton Le Dale, Pickering and Kirkbymoorside.
