Experience the historic charm of one of the oldest homes in Loudoun! Built in 1752, the main part of the home retains the original log/exposed brick walls, wood floors, ceiling beams, cathedral ceilings, 2 antique stone fireplaces, and more. Lovingly maintained and passed down generations, the property sits on 66 lush acres on a hillside with gorgeous views. Tasteful renovations to the original home have expanded the living and outdoor spaces to modern living while preserving the authenticity.
The space
Newly furnished home offers 5 spacious updated bedrooms with 4.5 bathrooms. All living spaces offer fabulous views out of every window. Relax on the front porch or the deck overlooking the serene pond. Property is ideal for great outdoor entertaining for families and friends. There is a large pool (open June to Sep) with lounge chairs, outdoor pizza oven & grill with picnic tables. Guests can enjoy outdoor dining with breathtaking views of the hills with changing colors. Fishing in the pond during the warmer weather is allowed. Enjoy the view of grazing cows. Bird watching, Hiking to the top of the hill or lounge by pool - there is something to do for everyone!

Guests are allowed to enjoy the common property grounds - pond, hiking trails and the grounds.
Guests have full access to the pool (June to Sep) and the outdoor oven/Picnic tables area.
Guests do not have access to the designated cottage area parking/cottage fenced in grounds including the cottage porch.
No Swimming/Fishing/Boating in the pond. In the spring/summer, fishing is allowed with Catch and Release policy (strictly enforced). Guests to bring their own fishing equipment.

Bunk beds are - 1 Twin bed and 2 Full size beds (There is a trundle bed so please be sure to look under the bunk bed).
- While you enjoy the extensive grounds surrounding the cottage, please be mindful and respectful of the woods and nature that surrounds this property. - Bring your binoculars so you can check out the bird action while you are here. In spring, we can see Baltimore oriole. Blue herons are frequent visitors to the pond.
-Wheel chair access is available. There is 1 bedroom suite on the main level that can be accessed without stairs.
- No swimming, fishing or boating is allowed in the pond at any time. Summer fishing may be allowed with strict catch and release policy enforced.
-No hunting is allowed
-Vehicles must be parked in the designated parking spots.
-You are entering a farm-stay. There are bugs, weeds, terrain, animals and wildlife, and equipment present. Encounters with wildlife are possible. Dress appropriately with safe footwear. Remain cognizant of your surroundings, especially at night. Children under 15 must be chaperoned by an adult outside at all times. Parties and events are not permitted without prior authorization.
Guests must agree to accept full and complete responsibility for any personal injury or property damage caused by the pet(s) or suffered by any person during the guests’ stay. *
-Guests will be charged accordingly for the repair of any damages and any additional cleaning requirements. Guests may not move, rearrange, or remove furniture, decor, or other items from the property. Loss or damage of any items to the property or furnishings will result in additional charges. If something is damaged, please contact the host immediately. Discharging of fireworks and/or firearms are not permitted.
