Summary: I’m going to be real here and say, the photos need to be updated. I was under the impression based off the pictures and the reviews that it was going to be spotless and cozy. But you must remember, you’re in the woods. Paint starts to chip after awhile, the terrain starts to un level, branches fall from the beautiful trees and the windows definitely start to get dirty. Is it a beautiful place? Yes! In my experience however, the couch wasn’t cleaned up before our arrival and there were crumbs and debris. Some of the dishes were dirty in the kitchen and I found a broken cup. So this place has been well loved by all visitors. There wasn’t a lot of cleaning products to use in case of a mess, and I’m sure for the person who comes to clean the place, there is a lot of ground to take care of. I believe the photos need to be updated because, the place definitely doesn’t look the same as advertised. It’s gained some character and also is being worked on it seems. The shelving in the bathroom showed exposed piping and insulation while we were there, and there were tools out on the property, which showed us maybe someone was just recently there. The other thing I want to remind anyone who needs this review, make sure you have a good amount of gas in your car, and that the car can go up hills. The parking area for you is not cement, it can be very muddy if it had recently rained. Overall, a nice stay.
