The gite is open for bookings and ofcourse we take care of your and our safety and health above all.
We are proud to announce that we are classified with 4 epi by Gites de France .
This detached half-timbered farmhouse from the Calvados region, around 200 years old, has been completely restored with very high quality materials. The result is a house with an original character combined with modern design and comfort.
The house is very suitable for couples or families of up to 6 people (4 adults / 2 children) and offers a stylish place with peace and space with lots of light, in the middle of the 'Val Sery', a small valley in Calvados, far away from the stress of mass tourism, but with WiFi and internetTV.

At the entrance there is a canopy on the outside, inside one enters a space of approximately 3 m2.
You also walk to the kitchen, with a dishwasher, a large fridge / freezer, a combi oven and a kitchen boiler.
The living room has a staircase, to a landing where there is a beautiful children's corner with bed (1.60 m) and a playroom, and a door to a bedroom for 2 people (possibly an extra bed can be arranged here or a baby cot ).
This floor is approximately 22 m2.
The living room has a beamed ceiling and an old-fashioned fireplace with wood burning stove.
Opposite the fireplace is an open cupboard. Along this cupboard you enter a downstairs hallway into the downstairs bedroom for 2 people of approximately 18 m2. (A baby bed fits here)
The living room is located near the kitchen with a sitting area by the fireplace.
There is also a door to a separate dining room.
The bathroom is spacious and contains a toilet, shower, washing machine, hanging cupboards and boiler.
A new central heating system has been installed with 2 new heat pumps.
Gite le Soleil de Fleurie stands on a very large private plot with swimmingpool, terrace, playing fields and large walking garden. Adjacent to this terrain, a short walk across the field, is the home of the owners. They will be happy to ensure that you have a pleasant stay in the gite.
You are a guest at Tessa and Erik:
Until recently living in the Netherlands, where Erik had a distribution company in fabrics and wallpaper and Tessa a shop and tearoom, they took the leap to France, where Tessa and Erik started a holiday home in a historic farm, located next to their main residence. Fully equipped and furnished with great taste, they ensure a carefree holiday for you.
Tessa specializes, among other things, in the preparation of cakes and meals for people with special diets. This makes the gite particularly suitable for guests with conditions such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis.
On request, a fresh and extensive breakfast can be arranged in the gite for lactose-free, gluten-free, sugar-free and also vegetarian.
But even if you want a 'normal' breakfast, this is definitely recommended!
(Just like Tessa's specialty for tea or coffee: the banana pie, which is gluten-free, lactose-free and vegan!)
Pastries are freshly prepared and you can also enjoy a delicious cup of English tea from teapigs in many flavors. All organic.

Your special host is our 3-year Australian Shepherd AMBOS.
He will certainly say hello to you in his own way and love to cuddle.
Very friendly to children and he likes to play with every dog.
Do you have to dig a hole? He specializes in this and will help you whenever he can :)
