Located on the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on a cliff with breathtaking full clear views over the ocean and Cristo Rei statue, this recently renovated house (Dec 2021) boasts a garden with palm trees and leafy plants. It is only a 5 minutes’ walk from Garajau's main avenue, which has all amenities including, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, pharmacy, a mouthwatering bakery and several cafes. This Villa is situated in a family-friendly neighbourhood. It's just 10 mins from the Airport, 5 mins away from Caniço de Baixo and 10 mins from Funchal.
As a self-catering house, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The natural light from 10 large windows enhances the ambiance of the spacious kitchen area. It has a fridge freezer, an induction hob, an electric oven, a kettle, toaster, microwave, blender and an iItalian coffee maker. Cookware, dishes, utensils and more are all furnished. It's the ideal place to enjoy breakfast or an afternoon cocktail while contemplating the magnificent views over the ocean.
The house is a perfect place for couples, families and friends to relax. It offers cable television with UK, French and German channels. Never miss a game from your favourite team as premium sport channels includes Premier League, German Bundesliga, French Ligue 1, Italia Serie A, Spanish La Liga, Portuguese Primeira Liga, Champions League matches, NBA, Formula 1. Ultra-fast WiFi internet also included.
The house has 3 bedrooms on the lower floor with access to a balcony and can comfortably sleep 8. All rooms have stunning views over the ocean below.
In the first bedroom, you will find a king size bed measuring 180cm x 200cm. An extra sofa-bed next to the large windows offers comfortable sleeping for an additional adult or child.
In the next bedroom, there is a Queen size bed measuring 160cm x 200cm.
The third bedroom contains two single beds 90cm x 200cm easily converted to a double bed measuring 180cm x 200cm.
In addition, there is an extra-bed, which can be placed anywhere to accommodate another adult. Baby cot and baby high chair, pram (+6 months) and Car Seat (GR 2/3) available for free as well.
On the entrance floor you have an open plan living room with a large L-shaped sofa and a dining area with comfortable seating. From here you have direct access to a large balcony overlooking the garden below and with full clear views over the Atlantic Ocean.
There are 3 bathrooms.
The first bathroom with white tiling on the top floor has a toilet, sink and a walk-in shower.
The second bathroom with light grey tiling has a toilet, sink and bathtub with shower.
The third ensuite bathroom has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.
Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.
Hot water is heated by state-of-the-art solar panels to reduce your carbon footprint. In contrast to many other houses, this home is totally gas free (no fossil/natural gas).
