THE SPACE:
Come to Fox Lodge to enjoy a tranquil stay where you can relax, refresh and restore your soul. Enjoy an apartment with its own private entrance, hot tub, fire pit, and barbecue. The apartment has a full-size kitchen, two bedrooms, an office area, and a laundry room.
The second bedroom is adjacent to the apartment but it is located within the main house. Fox Lodge guests will not have access to the main house and will access their bedroom through the apartment. There is a privacy screen that provides privacy for guests and for the hosts.
Fox Lodge provides free breakfast foods for their guests including various cereals, oatmeal, and waffle and pancake mix, butter and syrup. Waffle Iron and Griddle are provided.
Food for purchase is available to guests to either cook in the oven or barbecue. A list of food and price is posted on the freezer. The food is available in the freezer on the honor system and can be purchased by Paypal, Venmo or Zelle.
Fox Lodge has a heated pool, a putting green, waterfall, fire table, fountains, swing, and lawn games such as Cornhole and croquet. Children, babes and pups are welcome. Pack ‘n Play and sleeping bags are available for children.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD/LOCATION:
Fox Lodge is on a private dead end road. Our home sits on a bluff overlooking Mt. Rainier and the Puget Sound. From the backyard, you can watch the trains travel along the water line across the Puget Sound, small planes flying in and out of the Narrows airport, boats and barges pass by on the water and maybe even see an Orca or two. Eagles are often spotted behind our home along with owls, deer, and other wildlife. There is a path near our property that takes you down to the beach.
GUEST ACCESS:
Guests of Fox Lodge have their own private balcony and fenced backyard. On the balcony, there is a gas barbecue grill, and outdoor dining table with seating for four. In the backyard, Fox Lodge guests have their own private hot tub and fire pit.
The heated swimming pool is in the main backyard and is a shared space with the hosts and their friends and family. The pool is heated from May 1 - September 30.
Our mini Aussie, Jackson, lives on the property and is confined to the main backyard. If you want to come into the main backyard, Jackson will greet you with some barking! Feel free to say hello to him by using his name. He will understand that you are a friend. He will not harm you so don't be concerned about his barking.
