Welcome to Casa Mira, Silves. A large three bedroom privately owned villa located just outside the medieval town of Silves. Situated in the semi-rural countryside but close to all amenities and a 20 minute drive to some of the Algarve's most famous beaches and water parks. Casa Mira has beautiful views which ever way you look and is a peaceful retreat away from the crowds by the coast. Super fast Fibre Broadband Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the house and grounds.
The villa is set in its own private gardens and benefits from a south east facing balcony from the master bedroom, a roof terrace and a private palm fringed swimming pool and solarium. Optional pool heating is available at a supplement for March to June and September & October bookings.
The villa benefits from air conditioning for the warmer summer months and electric heating and a traditional log burner for the cooler months if required. There are three large bedrooms all with a large built in wardrobe each. The air conditioned master bedroom on the first floor has a large en suite bathroom with a shower, large bath and plenty of storage. The two additional bedrooms on the ground floor also benefit from air conditioning and have a large family bathroom with a large walk-in shower between.
The south west facing solarium and pool area provide ample sunshine and long lasting warmth into the evenings. The lush tropical gardens have been thoughtfully planted and beautifully maintained for your enjoyment. Behind the main garden and pool area is a large fully fenced rural field which is ideal for playing games in. The villa has all the privacy and space you could want. Return from the beaches in the late afternoon to air conditioning, a drink by the pool and a little more effortless relaxation.
The historic town of Silves is approximately a 5 minute drive by car where there are supermarkets, numerous bars, renowned restaurants and shops. Two big water parks (Slide and Splash and Aqualand) are within a 15 minutes drive, and Zoo Marine for the whole family within a 20 minutes drive. The Algarve Shopping Centre at Guia, just 25 minutes drive away, offers great High Street shops, cinemas and restaurants. The villa is an ideal base for walking, cycling, horse riding, surfing, bird watching and tennis holidays or just chilling out.
The villa also benefits from being central to many golf courses in the central Algarve region. Most notable are the Pestana Silves Golf and the beautiful Ocianico Faldo courses are all within a short drive. Other nearby courses include: Pinta Golf Course, Amendoeira Golf Resort, Morgado Golf, Ocianico O'Connor Jnr. There is also a Par 9 course at Vale de Milho just outside Carvoeiro which is suitable for families.
