Falcon Eyrie is a beautiful and spacious vacation home in Stowe with stunning views of the Mansfield ski slopes and surrounding mountain range. In addition, the key location affords quick accessibility to the town and ski resort.

Enter on the main/top floor with a vary large open area that includes the eat-in kitchen, dining area with table for up to 10, and living room with vaulted ceiling and a massive gas fireplace. Walls of windows and a balcony offer phenomenal views and mountain air.

You can see the glittering lights of the Trapp Family Lodge in the distance at night! Spacious half bath on this floor as well. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need for coffee, cooking and cocktails. Primary bedroom in this main floor, a very large room with a king bed, a wall of windows with views of the mountains, a large walk-in closet and an ensuite primary bathroom with double sinks and a large double rain shower.

Down one floor is the bedroom level with four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Bedroom one has a king bed and spacious walk-in closet, bedroom two has twin beds, bedroom three has a queen, and four has a queen and large walk-in closet. Walls of windows in every bedroom offer outstanding mountain views for all. Plus, bedrooms two and three share a large lower balcony. The water rushing down the big rocks of the brook that cuts through the property lulls you to sleep at night. Full bathroom at each end of the hallway makes easy access from all bedrooms, each with a sink with large countertop and tub showers. Ample bath linens and toiletries are supplied for all guests.

Down one more level to the bottom floor you will find a fabulous open space for entertaining with a bar area, a large wall inset TV with seating for movie watching, a pool table, and another full bathroom that is handicap access friendly. Host provides Amazon Prime and Netflix subscriptions, and classic games such as Scrabble, Monopoly and chess are also available for your enjoyment. The bottom floor is a walk out to a spacious rear yard with breathtaking landscaping. If you are renting in the warmer months there is an incredible covered pavilion with a massive stone fireplace. Please check with host first as it may be under light renovation.

Falcon Eyrie is a very private, well appointed home for you and your family/guests to enjoy all that Stowe has to offer. The host has lived in the area for over 20 years and happy to make recommendations for activities, restaurants and shopping. The historic town of Stowe is only 3 miles away and the ski resort is a mere 10 miles up scenic Mountain Road.

Guest Access: Entire home with the exception of apartment located over the garage.

Other things to note: Please note that there is an apartment over the garage with a private entrance that the host may occupy when not traveling.

The AC is set to 72 degrees in the warmer months. In the winter months the thermostat is programmed to 68-70 degrees.

There is a three day minimum booking required for Falcon Eyrie, but trust that three days won't be long enough to enjoy everything this property has to offer!

As a convenience to guests, laundry facilities and dishwasher are equipped with pods. Laundry room is available to guests staying longer than the three day minimum.
