Our collective impact should be as minimal as possible. The ACMÉ hut is built ecologically using natural materials (wood wool insulation, solid Landes pine, untreated fir from a regional sawmill) and recycled materials (recycled plastic terrazzo panels) wherever possible.
A sustainable cabin carefully designed and built for comfort:
Whether you want to see the stars at night, take a walk in the forest or simply get away from your daily routine, staying at ACMÉ is easy and convenient and just a short drive from Annecy.
Start the evening with a fireside vigil or an aperitif around the brazier, depending on the season, continue with a moment of relaxation in the private Nordic bath heated by a wood fire, and finish with a moment of rest admiring the stars in the suspended net.
The cabin:
Contemporary cabin designed with durability and comfort in mind. Elegant interior where you can sit back and enjoy the panoramic view of the lake and surrounding mountains while listening to music on the vinyl turntable.
Bed:
With a comfortable mattress, quilted comforter and quality pillows you have everything you need for a restful stay. Leave the sleeping bag at home!
Note that the mezzanine bed has a real mattress, but it's still an extra bed.
The cabane is more particularly recommended for two people because of its surface area.
Kitchen :
Modern kitchen with all the utensils you'll need. Two hotplates, fridge, cutlery and (almost) everything you need for cooking. You'll also find a coffee machine for those fuzzy mornings.
Don't want to cook? Many restaurants are within walking distance of the ACMÉ lodge, so don't hesitate to ask us for the right addresses!
Bathroom :
In harmony with nature, it's made of wood and terrazzo panels from recycled plastic. You'll find a shower, toilet, towels and everything you need for a relaxing ACMÉ experience.
Wood-burning stove:
For those colder nights, the stove can spark a little joy and offers comfortable warmth. You'll find everything you need to start a fire on site: logs, matches, and a short guide on how to use the stove.
PS: for the more chilly, the lodge is equipped with a heating system.
Windows:
From the windows of your cabin, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. With blackout curtains, you can darken the windows for even more comfort and privacy.
Work space:
The ACMÉ cabane is also perfect when you need a quiet place to work.
Sunny terrace:
A place to linger - or move your breakfast, workout or workspace. Outdoor furniture, hanging netting, lighting, parasol and brazier are available on site.
A small garden with trees surrounds the ACMÉ lodge.
Jacuzzi Nordic bath:
Heated over a wood fire, you'll find everything you need to light the fire on site, plus a guide to using the bath. The pleasure of a real Scandinavian bath accompanied by the smell of the wood fire.
