We built this unique apartment with attention to the original building and historic walls, so there can’t be a second apartment looking any similar to this. This apartment is perfect for a couple, that wants to explore the landscapes, architecture and the culinary as well as the unique art but also want their private retreat.
The bedroom is surrounded by the balcony and the private patio. Enjoy your restorative sleep in the custom-made bed out of solid wood between two historical stonewalls with a view onto the inner courtyard which was made out of Danube stones. In the courtyard you can relax at the private lounge with the lovely smell of lavender.
After a successful day you can rest in your living room watching Netflix, YouTube or cable TV. Maybe you just want to chill out in the private patio, have a great glass of wine from the Wachau and just enjoy the evening.
The bathroom is built quite generous. You can decide whether you want to use the rain shower or the bathtub. We also put towels, a hairdryer and a starter pack of shampoo, soap and body lotion into your bathroom for you to use.

The HIRSTORY OF DÜRNSTEIN during the 11th century the Kuenringer came from the region of Bayern & Sachsen to austria and received big areas around Eggenburg and Gobelsburg as imperial fiefdoms.
