For years, we enjoyed this Cottage, watching our kids grow up, making memories with their friends and their families. Our inlaws hosted bridge groups and the like here as well. Just a really unique gathering place. Since those kids have grown up and left the house, it is time for this special place to be enjoyed again by families coming together for quality time away from the hustle and bustle. Mathews County is the ideal place to slow down and connect with those special people. The Town of Mathews is just a 5-minute drive down the road has a very nice Food Lion and Dollar General and Va ABC Store. Great shops and storefronts along Main Street and some rather remarkabke restaurant choices for Town this size.
Outdoor Fun: The property is surrounded by water on 3 sides and has a panoramic view out towards the Bay. There is a pier on the property. Use of the pier is at Guests own risk, swimming is also at guests own risk. We encourage adult supervision at all times and would recommend life vests be worn at all times. We have kayaks for guest use and crab pots on the pier for guests to enjoy. At night, enjoy the fire pit while cooking up burgers on the grill and enjoying a glass of wine on the screen porch and deck.
Inside: We have wifi, TV for movies, and games in case of a rainy day. We have a fully ready-to-use kitchen to make a big breakfasts that everyone can enjoy around the table together. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, coffee maker, and newly replaced appliances.

Bedroom #1 & bathroom #1: Located conveniently on the first floor, this bedroom has a double bed and a full bathroom directly across the hall.
Bedroom #2 & bathroom #2: At the top of the stairs is bedroom #2, with a beautiful view of the water where you can enjoy a sunrise to begin your slow morning. Double doors separate this room and bedroom #3. Keep them closed and enjoy two separate spaces, or for children wanting a big slumber party, keep them open to invite all the laughs to continue. Across the hall is the bathroom with a two-sink vanity and stand-up shower.
Bedroom #3 & bathroom #2, Bedroom #3 has two twin beds and the same beautiful view as Bedroom #2. It has doors that open to bedroom #2 as well, which can act as a wall or doors. This bedroom shares a bathroom with Bedroom #2.
Bedroom #4 & Bathroom across the hall (the primary / master). The primary bedroom is located on the far side of the house and enjoys water views from both sides. It has a big queen bed and a futon sofa that serves as a sitting area or pulled out for sleeping.
