The Cottage at Fox Ridge is a charming home located approximately 25 miles from Tulsa, OK in the small town of Coweta.
The Cottage is nestled on 160 gated acres surrounded by two stocked lakes, hiking trails, open fields and woodlands. It offers a remote and peaceful experience free from distractions, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a full kitchen. Whether visiting the area to work or play, the Cottage perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The Cottage is the perfect escape, with an excellent location that will allow you to easily enjoy a variety of activities.
Your reservation includes full use of the entire home, the outdoor fire pit/grill/picnic area, fishing and swimming in the stocked lakes, both firepits, hiking trails, a playground, and so much more!
Even though we are located in the country, we have extremely fast 5G Wi-Fi.
The Cottage is two stories, with the second floor being located downstairs. Upon entrance, the main floor includes a large living room and kitchen, fireplace, master bedroom, full bathroom, and laundry room with washer and dryer. Downstairs, you'll find two bedrooms that will accommodate up to eight for sleeping. Each bedroom has its own dresser and closet area. We provide linens, towels, soap, toilet paper, hair dryer, dish soap, paper towels, and an initial supply of laundry detergent.
In total, the property has six beds (two kings, one queen, one set of bunk beds and a double bed). Couches are for day use only, and we ask that guests do not plan to make use of the couches as beds, because we are unable to wash cushion covers between stays like we do bedding. If your group needs separate beds for every guest in a group of 10, then this may not be the right property for you.
The kitchen includes seating for 6, and has an electric range, oven, and microwave. It is fully stocked with cookware, dishware, can opener, coffee maker, toaster, and blender. There is plenty of cabinet space for food and storage. We provide napkins, cooking oil, salt and pepper for seasoning, and creamer/sweeteners for your morning coffee. There's a washer/dryer (including initial supply of detergent and dryer sheets) and more cabinet space, with iron and small ironing board.
The back porch runs the length of the Cottage, overlooking dense greenery. Plenty of chairs, tables and gas grill provide comfortable outdoor lounging space where you can enjoy coffee on a cool morning or watch the sun go down. The porch also provides the perfect vantage point from which to observe wildlife like deer, bobcats, turkeys, and a variety of birds.
A fire pit located in the yard are the perfect way to end the day, stargazing or roasting marshmallows.
There are hiking trails that run throughout the 160 acres, two large lakes that are stocked with Bass and Bluegill and a playground.
The property is easily reached by paved state highways. The Cottage is reached via gravel driveway.
Parking is allowed in the carport, driveway and surrounding gravel areas.
Due to insurance purposes, no hunting or guns are allowed on the property. Sorry!
