Discover this lovely, picturesque holiday home, set in large grounds about 20 km north-west of Aubenas. It is located in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche regional natural park and features a beautiful private shaded terrace. Great for a relaxing holiday with family or friends Chirols is a small village with an imposing medieval castle, 2 km from Meyras and 5 km from Thueyts. You can enjoy hiking in the region, for example along the river Fontaulière. Ventadour castle is also worth a visit. The Ardèche is a very popular holiday destination, with many rivers for swimming and kayaking. It is known worldwide for its landscape, beautiful mountains, the famous Ray Pic waterfall, pleasant climate, markets, the Chauvet cave, picturesque villages and authentic stone houses. The gîte is 10 km from Vals les Bains (accessible via a beautiful mountain road) with cosy markets, a spa/pool and shops. Aubenas is a 25-minute drive away. You can swim in the river at Pont de Labeaume, a 10-minute drive away, where there are also several restaurants. Don't miss the lovely Friday night market in Chirols! With authentic, stone elements and quality furniture, this accommodation features a unique feel. The bedrooms are comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped and you have a beautiful view of nature.
