Beautifully fully renovated traditional Corfiot house, exceptionally charming, in a peaceful rural environment surrounded by olive groves and fields. Ideal for relaxing around the private pool on the lawn, resting in a comfortable, pleasant and tastefully furnished interior or surfing on internet. The house is extremely well situated in the centre of the island for those who would like to enjoy the north, south, east and west of the island ; they all have a completely distinct character and there are many wonderful beaches.
The house is registered and licensed with the Greek Tourisme Board (EOT) with the number 0829K92000475701 and registered with the tax office with the number 00000228080 (Αρ. Μητρώου Ακινήτου).
The historic centre of the town with its museums, shops, restaurants, coffee shops and the concentrated architectural tradition of many centuries is situated at 15 minutes by car. Furthemore, some of the most beautiful sandy beaches of the island (Glyfada , Pelekas , Yaliskari and Myrtiotissa) and the Golf course of Corfu (18 holes) are again only 9 minutes away by car and Aqua Land (the biggest water park in Europe) is no more than 3 mn away by car.
Ground floor: living/ dining room with very high wooden beam ceiling with big beams, stone fire place, big Plasma TV (37 inches), satellite, Blue-ray DVD, large sofa and dining table for 8 people plus adjacent kitchen (spacious separate but without door) with electric stove, fume hood, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, espresso machine (tassimo), coffee-maker and washing machine. One bedroom (Bedroom 1) with a double bed and ensuite bathroom with shower and WC, one bedroom (Bedroom 4) with two single beds, ideal for children (which can also be transformed in double bed, we change the matress), one bedroom (Bedroom 3 - option 1) with two single beds which can be transformed in a bedroom with large double bed (Bedroom 3 - option 2). The bedrooms 3 and 4 share another bathroom with a bathtub/shower and WC.
First floor (mezzanine under the beams): open gallery second small lounge space, one bedroom (bebroom 2) with a double bed and adjoining small bathroom with shower and WC.
From the ground floor there is direct access to a large terrace with a big dinning room table for 8 people and a peaceful view over the garden, the pool and an olive grove. There are sunshades and 8 sun beds around the private pool (9 x 5 metres & depth 1.2 - 1.8 metres) and a lounge for 8 people. Parking place for two cars in the property. Electric gate.
Four air-conditioners, free internet access (Wi fi), free local phone calls and of course the possibility to receive international phone calls on the land line.
Winter hollidays: Winter in Corfu is exceptionally mild. Despite that, the Villa has a fireplace and air conditioners. (heating)
