USEFUL INFORMATION

Location - The MALAGA chalet is located in the heart of the charming Eastern Townships region (Magog-Orford). It is also certified Accessible for people with restricted physical abilities. 1h10 from Montreal (Champlain Bridge); 2h20 from Quebec City (Pierre Laporte bridge); 4 hours from Boston (USA).

In nature! - It benefits from an intimate, cozy and calm environment surrounded by nature. The mature trees and the small path leading to a small accessible terrace on the edge of the Holland pond in the wild.Enjoy the fireplace and the functional spa all year round.

Close to everything - Less than 15 minutes from Mont Orford Park activities (SEPAQ), 10 minutes from downtown Magog. The Chalet des Diligences is close to all activity sectors. Access to lakes Stukely, Fraser and Memphremagog in a few minutes by car.

Spa - The spa is functional all year round! It is maintained between each rental. During stays of a week or more, an interview of a few minutes is carried out discreetly.The goal is to adjust the chemistry of the water and maintain its quality for your well-being!

Fireplaces - Inside the chalet, there is a gas fireplace that works at all times. Simple instructions are posted on site. The outdoor wood-burning fireplace is accessible year-round. Number of Guests - The chalet is designed to accommodate up to 6 people. The reservation must be made by a person aged 25 and over and be present during the stay. Simply notify us at the time of booking. Note: We do not have baby equipment. Please bring high chair, bassinet, etc.

Bedrooms - There are three spacious bedrooms with sliding doors. Two are equipped with a large bed (Queen), and the other with two twin beds that can be pushed together to form a large bed.

Bathroom - You will find a large open shower without threshold allowing the wheelchair to easily access it. In addition, a standard bath with hand shower. A sink under-counter allowing a wheelchair to slip into it. Several fixed grab bars are installed on the walls of the bathroom. Towels and washcloth are provided.
Shower room - It is accessible and includes a toilet, sink and grab bars.

Animals - We are happy to welcome your favorite animal to the chalet! Under certain conditions. Be aware that you are entirely responsible for it. Only one animal per stay. Either a dog up to 20 pounds or a cat. It is essential to ensure that your animal's behavior does not harm the peace of the neighborhood or the integrity of the property. When you leave, there must be no trace of your pet's passage through the chalet. The chalet is inspected between each rental. It is your responsibility to ensure that any damage is reported to us. Compensation costs, including material and time spent, will be invoiced. The conditions concerning the presence of animals are listed in the Booking Conditions .

Drinking water - Our water comes from an artesian well 300 feet deep. It is of excellent quality. It is important to use it wisely. Washing your car at the chalet is not an option! A water softener is installed to eliminate excess minerals and optimize the quality of the water.

Parking - The garage, which is oversized, allows you to get out of a vehicle equipped with a wheelchair ramp. The entrance to the chalet is directly from the garage.Three other parking spaces are available in the courtyard.

Snow removal - During the winter season, a snowplow clears access to the yard and the parking lot as needed. The terrace and access to the spa are also maintained. Make sure you have tires adapted to the climatic conditions of Quebec!

Electric adjustable bed - One of the two twin beds is an electric adjustable articulated bed. The head as well as the foot tilt easily with the help of a control button. This bed is at a height of 51 cm (20 in.) from the floor.Riser blocks are available on site to raise the bed up to 10 cm (4 in.)
Lift - We have one available if requested at time of booking. When you request it, it will be accessible and ready to use as soon as you arrive at the chalet. Note: The sling (harness) is not provided. The lift may not be available. If so, we will let you know when we receive your request.
Grab Bar - Available free of charge on request at the time of booking, the grab bar can be installed where you want before your arrival.By example, next to a bed or the toilet. A spanner you will allow the grab bar to be moved or repositioned easily need.

Shower bench - A shower bench is permanently available on site.

Bed rail (Bed side rail) - Available upon request at time of booking. We can install it before your arrival according to your instructions. If you prefer, you can do it yourself. Note: the use of the side rail will prevent the use of the functions of the electric adjustable bed.
