This eclectic three bedroom, two bathroom home is the perfect place to escape the city with friends and family. Chalet in the Pines features an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, unique & functional art crafted by local artisans and fireplace. Chalet in the Pines is a 10 minute drive to Goldwater Lake, Spruce Mountain and 15 minutes to Historic Downtown Prescott.
Breathe in that delicious mountain air as you find solace in the winter snow or cool summer weather. Listen to the rustling of the pine trees as you relax on the lovely deck, Prescott offers year round activities including Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo in July, special events at Halloween, Veterans Day parade, Thanksgiving, Lighting of the Courthouse in early December, Christmas festivities, and The Whiskey Row Boot Drop for the New Years Eve Event. The summer Concert Series brings free events to the Courthouse Square. Bring your chairs or blanket, picnic basket and enjoy the music on the Courthouse Square. Numerous one-of-a-kind restaurants and coffee shops downtown offer culinary delights for everyone from carnivores to vegans and to those who are gluten free.
Prescott offers many hiking trails from light and easy to those for the more adventurous seeking a more rugged terrain. You may want to go see the Grand Canyon which is 2-1/2 hours away. Beautiful Sedona is 1 1/2 hours away, Jerome is 1 hour and Flagstaff 2 hours away. If you want to see some local animals then our very own Heritage Park Zoo is a short 25 minute drive. The Granite Dells park is a gorgeous picturesque adventure and to name a few others we have Goldwater lake, Willow Creek and Lynx Lake. So many wonderful places to experience and enjoy!
INSIDE THE HOME
Living room: A perfect gathering place to read or cozy up after a long day of sightseeing and exploring. This space offers a large sectional, books, games and Smart Tv for streaming access. Sheets and pillows are available for guests who want to utilize the chaise portion of the sectional as an additional sleeping space. There is a wood burning fireplace available for guest use.
Dining Room: The open concept dining area provides seating for 8 guests.
Kitchen: The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your favorite meals, except the ingredients. The kitchen offers countertop seating and a small table nestled in the bay window. Appliances include a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, oven/stove and toaster.
Bathroom 1 :This bathroom has Jack and Jill doors allowing access through a main bedroom and the hallway. This bathroom includes a full size shower with a single sink vanity. The bathroom is stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Bathroom 2: This bathroom has Jack and Jill doors allowing access through the hallway and the master bedroom. This bathroom includes a garden shower tub and a double sink vanity. Please note: The sauna is not for guest use.
Bedroom 1: This bedroom features a King sized bed, bedside tables, lamps and a chaise. The chaise opens up to allow additional sleeping space if needed, perfectly sized for a child. There is a sliding glass door that allows access directly to the deck area. The closet allows for additional clothing storage.
Bedroom 2: This bedroom features a twin over full size bunk bed with an additional pullout twin. The room has a dresser, lamp and sliding glass door that allows access directly to the deck area. There are puzzles and games available as well.
Master bedroom: This bedroom features a king sized bed, bedside tables, lamp, dresser and Tv. There is a small sitting area near floor to ceiling windows. A sliding glass door allows guests access to a small deck with a 2 person hot tub.
Laundry room: The laundry room is accessible off the main hallway for your convenience. Amenities are available for guest use.
OUTSIDE
Chalet in the Pines features a screened in porch with fireplace for those chilly nights. The wrap around deck is perfect for soaking in the Arizona sun and a small garden with a walking path. There is a small playhouse on the property for kids to explore. The property borders the Prescott National Forest so visitors may explore on their own or take one of the many hiking trails nearby.
*Other things to note:*
While the roads to this property are paved and fully maintained, all wheel drive or four- wheel drive may be necessary during the few snow days Prescott receives. It is a great area for sledding right from the front door.

BEFORE BOOKING please note that if your reservation requires additional guest fees and/or pet fees of $115, these fees will NOT be shown at time of booking. These fees will be added AFTER you have booked and you have paid the amount due at that time. It's the guest's responsibility to let us know within 48 hours of booking if there are any pets, service animals or additional guests that weren't originally listed at the time of booking. Changes made to the reservation after 48 hours of time of booking are subject to a $35 change of reservation fee in addition to the pet fee and/or additional guest fee. PMI Northern Arizona is a Full Service Property Management company, we do have and require a Property/Region Specific Vacation Rental Agreement be signed separate from what is required by VRBO. This contract will be sent after VRBO confirms the booking with our office.
Pets or No Pets; It's the guest's responsibility to make PMI Northern Arizona aware of a service animal or emotional support animal that will be staying at the property before check in. Once made aware, you will be sent an email of our policy on this matter. When we've confirmed your service or emotional support animal, you're required to sign an Animal Addendum in addition to the standard contract.
