Summary:
Welcome home to Celeste House! This cozy 1,942 square foot abode is located in the heart of Mary Esther, centrally located to multiple beaches, cities and more! This home has coastal accents and is inspired by the owner's overseas military assignment in Vicenza, Italy. It's extremely spacious, cozy and perfect for entertaining or a family get away. Close to FOUR of Emerald Coast's beaches and bayous! Beaches, crab island, waterparks, zoo, etc! Book your stay today, you'll love it here!
The Space:
The Celeste House is a spacious detached single-family home on a corner lot that offers a split floor plan with the master bedroom to your immediate left as you enter and the other two bedrooms to your right. A fully equipped kitchen is located just past the dining room. You'll notice the cathedral ceilings as you continue through the dining room and into the living room. Plenty of space in the living room for small gatherings. Your very own office space with keyboard and printer are located in the living room. The backyard is completely enclosed with a fence for privacy and to help keep our furry friends safe. A dining table, fire pit and grill are located in the backyard as well for your convenience :)
Guest Access:
The Celeste House is equipped with 2 Yale Smart Locks. One on the front door and the other on a door located to the right of the garage door/driveway. Guests will receive a 4-digit code on the day of check-in that'll work for both entrances and be activated at check-in. The codes will no longer work once guests check-out at 10am.
The Neighborhood:
The immediate area is very safe with a strong military community from both the Army and Air Force (active & retired). My neighbors and I share a mutual respect for one another - there is hardly any noise and it is very peaceful at night.
Getting Around:
Local roads do not have bike lanes and public transportation is non-existent. You're best bet is using Uber or Lyft if you don't have a POV.
Other Things to Note:
The driveway supports 6 sedans and the garage can fit an additional 2. Boat and RV are parking available as well. The driveway is very spacious.

I do not interact with guest outside of the app, but I live in the immediate area should you need my assistance.

Summary: Good thing about the home: centrally located making it easy to access Destin & Panama City Beach to the east and Navarre & Pensacola to the west! Neighborhood was quiet & we were able to take walks with our dogs at night easily with no worries. Fully fenced in yard for pups was super nice but the fence could use some updates as holes are starting to appear. We found the lighting & electrical quite strange (ie. flip the switch upside down in the bathroom, light switch for outside is near the man door and not the french doors that you typically use to go out, garage door opener would be much better located by the man-door so that you could hit it right when you come in, hard to find which light switches activate which lights, etc). I didn't realize that there was a keypad on the side man-door to the garage until day 3 so that would have been nice to know. Much easier to go in the garage man-door & open the garage door than use the front door. Management was really good about contact & giving us area information. I did receive a $22 charge on my credit card that seemed to be from a handiman coming in to fix a toilet. I am not sure why we would be paying for home repairs that we did not break. Responsive when we told them both toilets were running all night but repairman only fixed 1. We did not visit at peak season but weather was beautiful during the 1st week of November & that made it perfect for no crowds!
