YES, this is THE CASTLE you grew to all love on Airbnb and it was decided to no longer be on Airbnb with new takeover—but just on vrbo and it is under all new management which made the first change to get off Airbnb and other changes within the castle itself are ongoing ! Come see for yourselves! THIS is where the winning teams to LakePoint always stay,too! It is like a good luck charm—ie staying at the homey relaxing Castle!
It is out in nature, so you may see spider webs and ladybugs from time to time even with PestControl…..but never been an issue really——what else would one expect from an old castle afterall ..it is part of the charm and splendor.
Also, it has a very occasional kitchen for owners, so recommend if plan to cook to bring own cookware along with you to ensure can cook every dish you wish to prepare…and bring cookie sheets if wish to bake cookies on the professional gas oven!
And yes once more this is indeed THE Serenity Castle…you have come to know and love from another platform but all feel it is best served, shown and represented by VRBO…but yes —all the great stuff from before and some new things are being added all the time….come and see and enjoy…stay where the winners stay and play!
Large spacious Open areas with entire home built out of only Hardwoods, Stone, Brick and real stucco with no dry walls in entire place.
Looks like European Castle and was built in 1982 by NASA Engineer. It has 2 large bedrooms each with a queen size bed with newly upgraded mattress toppers and more pillows on the main floor and it is accessible with an easy walk on covered walkway. On this main floor is a very large bathroom with a large shower easy to step in and out of for any guests.
Upstairs there is a large bedroom with 3 single beds and a full private bath, also upstairs is 1 smaller bedroom with single bed and finally upstairs there is a huge master suite complete with queen size bed, beautiful couch, chair and large ottoman, and off of bedroom is a small private screened deck, the huge master bathroom off of this master suite has a large shower and a separate large garden size bathtub(Jets inoperable), closed water closet,double sinks and a small Romeo and Juliet balcony off of it.
The main floor has a huge great room, full bathroom with shower as described above previously, a large gourmet kitchen with a commercial grade gas oven, and microwave, dishwasher and large refrigerator, there is a deck off of the area between kitchen and great room, off of the great room, there is an all glass enclosed sunroom with a dining room table in it for up to 10 for seating, and space for another dining room table of equal size or owners have used it for a place to put down yoga mats and stretch with a view over the mountains. There is a separate deck off of this sunroom.
There is a full size washer and dryer on the main floor. And, The basement includes a heart shaped labyrinth one can walk for relaxation, an area with small couch and bookshelves for lounging. The ping pong table has been added for extra enjoyment in this activity area. It is a great area to relax and walk the labyrinth and a place for quiet prayer and/or meditation in addition to an area for fun games, if you wish, like ping pong.
Outside there is a basketball goal for basketball enthusiasts...just bring your own basketball and enjoy!
Also, the 2 car garage is being used for storage and the 2 locked doors at end of hallway upstairs labeled Iris and Rose on the doors are 2 small areas being used for owner/storage, please do not disturb, and there is paved parking out front for approx. 15 cars.
Amazing views off the large back decks and the huge sunroom/dining private with no other homes within sight, with its own gate, and yet less than 4 miles from Lake Point, and grocery stores and all you would need for your stay, and since it is out in nature, one may see occasional insects, palmetto bugs, and the most frequent visitors are the ladybugs certain times of the year and it is to be expected in a private wooded area. However there is regular pest control servicing the Castle but if you have issues with pests while there just let us know and our pest control company will come back out to treat as part of the contract on the Castle. And if you have phobias of ladybugs or any bugs or spider webs, this is not a good place for you to stay as it is out in nature and you will see some of these no matter how much cleaning is done. And in spring/summer, it is a good idea to bring bug spray with you as this castle is nestled in the woods which is what lends to its unique character and appeal,too. Also, please do not leave food out on countertops at any time and sweep up crumbs as again bugs as in nature and they will come seeking food.
Also, a professional group cares for castle. All guests upon arrival need to let us know you have arrived safely, and inform us if any concerns or questions. Please reach out within first 2 hours of arrival so any issues may be addressed and rectified immediately—and do not wait to reach out if there are concerns of any kind.
Plus, there is an added bonus, as you can even drive to Atlanta and Buckhead areas within approx. 40 minutes for all the Atlanta attractions, fine dining and excitement of Hotlanta while staying in serene, peaceful and beautiful Castle thus the name “Serenity” where you can have the best of all worlds.
Please note upon arrival you will have one roll of toilet paper in each of the 3 bathrooms, and one roll of paper towels in the kitchen and one pod for dishwasher one pod for washing machine too. This is a small complimentary supply to get you started so if staying several nights you will need to bring more with you or go the nearby Publix and purchase some more. Also, you will need to bring your own soap and shampoo products with you.
Towels and linens are provided and beds will be made upon arrival. However, please note that NO washcloths are provided due to sanitary reasons. If would like washcloths, please bring some with you for use. And if prefer more towels, recommend please bring extra with you for your stay…as one towel per guest is provided.
Also the kitchen has a professional gourmet oven, BUT this is an occasional home for the owners so the kitchen is NOT well stocked but few basics so if intend to cook a lot please bring cooking supplies with you—no specialty items like cookie sheets to bake cookies on,etc…so please be aware and bring with or will need to go out to purchase if wish to cook a lot. The pricing of this large home with phenomenal architecture is based upon the fact these items aren’t being provided. The owners could provide more kitchen and specialty items, but the price point per night would more than double. And guests have indicated they prefer the great pricing and can bring extra things needed for their stay.
Please note Absolutely NO PETS allowed at any time, and cameras in place for observation of entries and If pets seen entering premises you will be asked to leave and forfeit your stay/monies paid and security deposit,too.
There are 2 wood stoves and they CANNOT BE USED AT ANYTIME! They are posted with signs—of used you will forfeit stay/monies and security deposit and we will file action do a fine of $1000. Do NOT use woodstoves! The flue will smoke up home and against insurer policy to be used at any time...owners do NOT use them either.
NO SMOKING inside or around immediate area of house nor on decks...huge fire hazard..if this is seen on camera or by neighbors—you will be asked to leave and lose deposit. IF signs of smoking upon departure or used cigarettes in the home, you Will forfeit the deposit
Also, No Parties and No greater than 10 people, again cameras monitor entries, so if this rule is broken you are subject to be asked to leave immediately and forfeit your stay/monies paid and security deposit.
