Casa Luisella offers the best to our guests, tottaly new renovation to a very high standard, the original features that could have been saved are still in the building and all else fits in perfectly!
3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living area creates the perfect place for 6 people.
Entering the villa from the main road and closing the door behind you, your totally forget that you have left behind the town! To make the best of the views and the large open concept, this house is an upside down house as 2 of the 3 bedrooms are on the main floor.
The master bedroom is large, airy, spacious and also boasts a lovely terrace with a lake view. To the back of the master is the twin, that can be made into a double on request. This bedroom is also spacious with lots of wardrobe space. These two bedrooms share the large family bathroom with shower, basin, bidet and wc.
Going up to the living area you will notice the lovely original stone staircase with its cast iron handrail, all still original features that have been lovingly renovated.
On the top floor, as you go up the lovely staircase, you first notice the wood beam ceiling, giving the room a lovely and accommodating atmosphere. This open plan living area has been thought out for maximum enjoyment and family living. Spacious, bright and airy, a lovely balcony with the most amazing views over the lake and the Island.
The perfect spot to enjoy the Firework festival of Sala Comacina, famous for its fantastic show...if you have a place to stay in Sala Comacina during this festival Bob's your Uncle!
The kitchen is fully equipped with the best quality appliances and utensils. Perfect for preparing your Italian meals or even just breakfast as there are a number of restaurants to choose from, from the StreatFood Ape Car original from Sala Comacina (it's not always positioned so keep an eye out, you will thank us!) to the lovely traditional fish restaurant, the Ristorante of the Lido area and just steps away to the famous Ristorante del Isola where the fire ritual takes place every evening and is fun and fascinating to watch the host perform his enchanting show, to get to the island you just get transported across via boat!
The third bedroom is on this top floor, with a double bed, ample wardrobe space and the bathroom right next door. Bathroom with shower, wc, bidet and basin.
On the ground floor is the laundry room and also the private garage that can accommodate up to 2 cars. Parking in Sala Comacina is worth more than GOLD so this is perhaps one of the more useful features of the villa!!
Again the original staircase takes you down to the lower service floor.
Sala Comacina is a lovely town, the only island on Lake Como is located here, beautiful views and very characteristic. Narrow roads and not an abundance of parking spaces and because of this, unfortunately not many people adventure into the town it's self but the lanes and cobbled stone streets are lovely, like walking back in time...the little port and square with the island just across the way, is possibly one of the more relaxing spots on Lake Como, you will be in love in minutes!!
