Casa Blanca Del Mar is a newly built villa facing the breathtaking Sea of Cortez. This villa is a dream for any surfer or family/friends just seeking to get away and experience a truly serene vacation. The architecture and design of the home is chic and modern. Every finish and detail was thought about, while still feeling cozy so that guests feel at home. The villa has a private pool, outdoor shower, outdoor grill, and seating area, as well as beautiful ocean views from the rooftop terrace. Our amazing onsite staff, Sofia and Maciek, offer additional, quality in-home cooking and cleaning to ensure a truly carefree experience. Maciek is also a professional massage therapist with over 25 years of experience and can provide in-home massage therapy.
Just a two-minute walk away from the house is the beautiful beach, Playa La Fortuna, where you can enjoy sunbathing and beachcombing afternoons in the warm sun. Other activities in the immediate area include world-class surfing destinations (2-minute drive to Shipwrecks), snorkeling, stand-up paddling, and kiteboarding. We can provide guests with beach gear and try to accommodate any requests as well.
The property features a main house and two casitas. The main house includes 4 bedrooms--two masters with ensuite bathrooms and the two other bedrooms share the hallway full bathroom. Across from the main house, by the pool and grill area, are two casitas. Each casita has a queen bed, ensuite bathroom, and small outdoor kitchenette. The living room in the main house has a Smart TV for guests to kick back and watch a movie or their shows on Netflix, Amazon, Youtube, etc. The living and dining rooms open up to the outdoor area bringing comfort outside where you can experience nights stargazing while still enjoying the comfort of a cozy couch. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new appliances and bar seating around the island.
An AWD rental vehicle is recommended for this location, especially if you plan to do a lot of exploring and activities, but not necessary. The property manager can help you book private airport transportation, car rentals, activity planning, and anything else you might need for your stay.
The drive to downtown San Jose (where all the nightlife, shops, restaurants etc. are located) is about 30 minutes. There is a mini mart with basic grocery essentials in La Fortuna.
We are a 100% eco-friendly villa. We run completely on solar power and have a delicate septic system. We provide a supply of biodegradable products in each bathroom, please use them. If you wish to use your own products, please check they are at least 90% biodegradable as well--we appreciate it.
The property has WiFi, but being off the grid, it has to be done through a secondary provider which gets their signal from the main one in town. At times the WiFi can be a little spotty.
Nightly pet fee is 50 USD.
Washer and dryer are available for a small charge per load.
The person that makes the reservation and signs the rental agreement must be at least 25 years old.
