This well-appointed, comfortable townhouse is on a quiet block yet close to everything - 1.5 blocks from Eastern Market Metro station and Barracks Row restaurants, less than a mile (20 minute walk) to the U.S. Capitol Building.
The first floor has a sunny dining area with a large table and seating for 6. There is a full kitchen with every cooking implement or appliance you might need, including several ways to make a perfect cup of coffee. The living room has a cozy couch and armchair for relaxing and a 65” TV. French doors lead to the back patio and grill. The first floor also includes a half bath. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a king-sized bed, adjustable height desk, and en suite bathroom with double shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a also a full bath with tub and a washer and dryer closet on the second floor. The living room can be used as a sleeping space - a queen Aerobed with thick mattress pad is very comfortable, and the door to the living room closes for privacy.
This location is ideal for a D.C. visit - in the charming Capitol Hill neighborhood, close to Eastern Market and the year-round weekend farmer’s market, close to multiple parks and playgrounds, a pleasant walk or short metro ride to Smithsonian museums, the Botanic Gardens, and the Capitol Building.
