The Space:
The Lost Shepherd's Lodge is a beautiful, newly built mountain cabin in. North GA. It will accommodate up to 7 guests and offers stunnings of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This cabin is perfect for the adventurous group as it is 5 minutes to the Aska Hiking Trails and even closer to the Toccoa River for tubing, kayaking, riverside dining, and gem mining! Treat yourself to an extraordinary getaway that allows you to unplug and recharge in the mountains!
Situated on a private mountain, overlooking miles of forest & surrounded by an abundance of wildlife, it is an easy choice to stay at home & embrace the peaceful serenity of this cabin.
This 3-bedroom, 3 story cabin rental is perfect for families and groups of friends! Whether you're hanging out on the porches and grilling or relaxing in the hot tub, cozying up next to the indoor/outdoor fireplaces, or enjoying the spacious floor plan, the gorgeous mountain views offer the perfect backdrop to your relaxing getaway!
Please note this cabin has very limited cell service due to its location. Starlink internet is provided!
The Main Floor features an open living room with a gorgeous wall of windows highlighting the view. There is a stone gas fireplace and Dish Satellite TV, making meal times and movie nights extra cozy. (Please note that gas fireplaces in this cabin are only operable October through April as they heat the entire cabin.)
The main level deck has a gorgeous lounge area overlooking the mountains with a dining table that seats 6, outdoor seating, and a stone gas burning fireplace. Enjoy gorgeous sunrises and sunsets from this part of the cabin that we adore so much!
The dining room table seats 6 with 2 additional seats at the kitchen island. The kitchen is fully equipped with ice maker, Keurig/12 cup brew pot combo, kettle, knife set, cutting boards, mixing utensils, pitcher Tupperware, pots and pans, dishes, kid-friendly heavy-duty plastic dish ware, mixing bowls, toaster, casserole dish, measuring utensils, silverware, crockpot, masher, pizza cutter, scoop, rolling pin, grater, hand mixer, strainer, whisks, peeler, wine opener, can opener, tongs, BBQ utensils, and scissors. There is a gas grill that uses propane tanks on the porch.
The main floor bedroom has a queen bed with a Twin roll-away bed with memory foam mattress in the closet. The main floor bathroom features a tile walk in shower and a laundry area with a washer, dryer, iron, ironing board, vacuum, mop, and broom, first aid kit, and flashlights for guests to use as needed.
The top level features a master suite with a queen bed, dresser, workspace, private balcony with outdoor seating, and a private attached bathroom with a tile walk in shower.
The lower level features an entertainment area with a stone gas fireplace, futon, Dish Satellite TV, Poker Table, card table, air hockey, ping pong, 4 arcade machines, and a wet bar with various style glasses, a sink, and mini fridge! This is a fantastic space for fun game nights.
The lower level bedroom has two twin beds. The lower level bathroom has a tub shower.
The lower level porch features a hammock, outdoor seating and a round hot tub.

The cabin and hot tub are professionally cleaned and disinfected in between every guest stay.
Minimum age to book this cabin is 25. All guests that book this cabin will be required to sign a rental agreement PDF.
No pets allowed.
No smoking of any kind allowed inside the cabin (cigarettes, cigar, weed, vape, candles, etc). Smoking is allowed on the decks/outside.

The Neighborhood:
This beautiful cabin is completely surrounded by nature (seeing either a National Forest, Wildlife Management Area, or the Appalachian Mountains whichever way you turn) & is located in the famous Aska Adventure Area (the "heartbeat" of Blue Ridge & Fannin County). This natural wonderland showcases the best the area has to offer: hiking/walking trails/biking trails, fishing, camping, rafting, tubing, gem mining, mini golf, countless river/lake activities, dining, shopping, & so much more. The cabin is also just minutes from Downtown Blue Ridge & gives you easy access to many other wonderful opportunities in the area such as museums, ziplines, helicopter tours, wineries, orchards, Amish food & furniture, scenic railway, dining, marina, waterfalls, adventure park, horseback trail rides, & many other sites/attractions. But if you don't feel like venturing out too far, there are many attractions & activities within a few of miles of the cabin. Only 3 miles away is the Lilly Pad Village. It is like a mini Chamber of Commerce for the Aska area & offers local information, hiking directions, food, & fun/educational activities, sights, & sounds for the whole family. Just down the road you will find the highly recommended Toccoa Riverside Restaurant, Iron Bridge General Store & Cafe (hot food, groceries, & gem mining), & Toccoa Wilderness Tubing. And a short 20 minute walk from the cabin is Falls Branch Falls, one of Georgia's most beautiful waterfalls & an easy hike for beginners. It's only too easy to just pick up & go explore the area.
Getting Around:
The best way to get around is in your own vehicle, whether a rental or personal car. If you're flying in, the nearest airport is in Atlanta. The roads are well established all the way to the cabin (paved most of the way) but can be very curvy in some places & tend to go either up or downhill, like what you'd expect living in the mountains.
