Blue Spruce is a privately owned, recently remodeled, 3 br 1.5-bathroom farmhouse style vacation house nestled on .75 acres and located only 4.2 miles from The Mountain Creek Ski Resort in the Skylands section of North-West New jersey. Enjoy a large backyard oasis featuring an inground fenced-in amazing pool (summer only), a new large 6–8-person hot tub, two sections of decking, a BBQ grill (gas provided but not guaranteed if it runs out) and a chiminea. Visit numerous local wineries and breweries, farm stands and farms, over 8 gold courses, horseback riding, and the endless charm of Warwick NY which is just a short 20+-minute drive from the house. You and your family will love gathering at Blue Spruce creating and sharing memories to last a lifetime. Kids can enjoy their own space in the basement while adults can sit by the wood burning fireplace or the living room and catch up on family updates. Golfers and skiers can enjoy the large hot tub after a day on the links or slopes and get a much-needed message from the hot tub jets.

The newly updated and spacious KITCHEN was designed for those who love to cook and is set up for continued conversation with family hanging out in the Den

The den has a huge LCD TV with Roku streaming and a wood burning fireplace (BYOW) - (not available for use from May through September) a sofa bed and is just off the kitchen
The living room has a sofa and love seat and can sit at least 5 comfortably.
The dining room seats up to 6 guests around the beautiful Pottery Barn table

IDEAL GUESTS
We rent to responsible families and groups of responsible adults who are ALL 24 years of age or older. Any group of individuals will need to provide each guest’s full name and their ages. We have the right to ask for a driver’s license at any time.
GUESTS WHO MAY NOT FIND THIS RENTAL SUIATABLE
If your intention is to rent this condo to party and/or have more than the allowed # of guests in this condo at any given time, or sneak a pet in, then you are not a good fit and will not be allowed to book this condo. If you’re a parent looking to book a stay for your kids in high school, college, etc then please book elsewhere as we don’t allow for this.
***The pool is professionally cleaned once a week by a pool company usually on a Wednesday, Thursday or a Friday. If you book this house, you agree to let them clean the pool when they show up no matter what day or time of day. It's not cleaned daily. We also have a skimmer net for your daily use during your stay***
Other things to note
Pool area is off limits when its closed. Never leave the pool gate open.
Town regulated quiet hours are from 10 pm up through 8 am daily
We rent to responsible families up to 8 guests - no more!!!!
We will rent to a group of friends who are ALL 24 or older. We will request ID from all guests. No house parties!!!
We don't allow guests to have parties at the house inside nor outside
We don't allow pets in or at the house
We don't allow smoking of any kind in the house
Pool is not heated and off limits from the day after Labor Day through late may each year
Grill is available April-October
We provide a starter set for the wood burning fireplace only and guests must be able to open and close the flue when needed
All guests are required to complete a separate house rules agreement and pool/spa rider to gain house access.
We have a BLINK doorbell at the front door and BLINK cameras around the outside of the house
We use an electric lock so guests must be able to use this lock to gain entry. We will not open it up for you. it's very easy.
Keep kids away from the fireplaces and don't let them touch the glass covering the fireplaces!
The only rooms with Air Conditioning are 2 bedrooms.
Hot Tub Safely Rules
Shower with soap and water before you come in
You must take the hot tub cover off 100% - don't just fold it over.
Enter and exit the hot tub slowly.
Please no jumping or diving into or out of the hot tub
No walking on the $1,000 hot tub cover
Do not bring glass in or near the hot tub.
Do not use alcohol, narcotics, or medications.
Elderly persons must consult a doctor before use
Pregnant women should consult a doctor before use
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times
Do not enter, if the hot tub water temperature is over 104 degrees
Limit your hot tub use to 15 minutes, and cool off before re-entry
Anyone with heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure or any serious conditions or illness should consult a doctor before entering the hot tub
Please replace hot tub cover after each use carefully (4 clips)
Please do not sit or lie down or jump onto the hot tub cover
Please turn off the hot tub jets after each use
Please do not use soaps or oils or sun lotion in the hot tub
Fireplace Rules: (its BYOW-Bring your own wood)
A fireplace is to be taken seriously, especially a wood burning fireplace like we have in this house. A guest can only use the wood burning fireplace if they have had positive experience with wood burning fireplaces and know how they work and how to open and close the FLUE. If a guest does not and uses it and causes damage to the house including smoke damage, they will be charged a fee of at least $3,000 to cover damages which can be severe and expensive.

Camera 2: garage camera - facing the driveway - motion censored and light
Camera 3: pool shed - looks out at the pool
Camera 4: upper deck facing the patio sliding doors - looks at the upper deck and sliding door entrance.
If any camera is tampered with the reservation will be terminated immediately and you ill need to leave the grounds
