Lake George is a year-round full recreational lake for boating, swimming and fishing in the summer. In the fall you can enjoy the beautiful leaves by taking a bike ride around the lake on the paved paths. Winter brings sunny days to snowmobile, ice fish and cross-country ski or curl up in front of the fireplace with hot cider and a good book. When March comes around, the lake opens and the plants and animals awaken. You may see loons, swans, albino deer and beautiful cranes and eagles. There is a sandy beach for swimming and a shallow shoreline perfect for small children. Lake George Regional Park is within walking and biking distance. Biking path surrounds most of the lake.
