Its privileged location is immediately revealed with a private pier, complete with a jetty for mooring boats. A wide stone staircase leads to an enchanting private garden of 1,000 square metres, offering a breathtaking view of Lake Como. The garden, embellished with a green lawn, century-old plants and an irregularly sized infinity pool (8x3.70m) with hydro-massage and indoor seating, is equipped with comfortable armchairs, sun loungers, a dining table for 8 and a barbecue area. Prepare to enjoy the view next to a majestic century-old cedar and olive tree, while enjoying delicious al fresco meals. In the centre of the garden, a pretty pond houses fish, a waterfall and a bronze statue.
The swimming pool is open from 4 April to 31 October and, upon request with at least 48 hours' notice, the water can be heated at an additional cost.
The villa also offers a beautiful terrace on the ground floor, furnished with dining tables and a sunshade awning for outdoor relaxation.
For exciting water adventures, we provide our guests with 2 kayaks and a private speedboat, complete with crew for 8 people.
Please note that Villa Regina del Lago is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties due to the stairs present both inside and outside the property.

Villa Queen of the Lake is a completely renovated historic 19th century villa on Lake Como, located in the village of Laglio, between Cernobbio and Tremezzo.
The villa boasts a private pier with access to the lake and a dock for mooring. On a lower level and reached by a wide stone staircase, there is a lovely private garden of 1000 sqm, which offers a splendid view of the lake. The garden with lawn and century-old plants, and a private infinity swimming pool (8x3.70m), irregularly shaped, with hydro-massage and indoor seating, is equipped with armchairs, sun loungers, dining table for 8 people, barbecue area and garden furniture perfect for sitting, enjoying the view next to a century-old cedar tree and an Olea and outdoor meals. In the middle is a small fish pond with a waterfall and a bronze statue.
The pool is open from 4 April to 31 October, and the water can be heated (on request with at least 48 hours' notice, at an extra cost).
Outdoor spaces include a beautiful terrace on the ground floor of the villa, equipped with dining tables and a protective awning.
At guests' disposal: 2 kayaks and a private motorboat (for 8 people including the driver).
Guests are advised that due to the presence of various stairs (both inside and outside the property), Villa Regina del Lago is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties.

Attractions
Villa Queen of the Lake is situated in the area of Lake Como, precisely in the village of Laglio, between Cernobbio and Tremezzo.
In Laglio there are all the necessary shops and services: 50 m from the villa there is a grocery shop and newspapers and 200 m away there are two typical restaurants always open.
The bus stop is only 50 m away and the ferry boat to tour Lake Como is about 1 km from the villa.
Lake Como is renowned for its lush vegetation, mild climate and beautiful villas. Probably the most famous of these is Villa Carlotta, which is a perfect combination of luxurious interiors and lush exteriors.
Just 14 km away is Como, with its cathedral and ancient churches. Take the cable car to Brunate for spectacular views.
Cernobbio (9 km) is home to some of the most interesting historic houses in the area. In particular, we recommend a visit to the gardens of the mysterious Villa d'Este, which has also been the scene of famous crimes of passion, and Villa Erba, owned by one of Italy's largest families of pharmaceutical entrepreneurs, and above all the home of the mother of the famous Italian film director Luchino Visconti, who spent several summers here and was the inspiration for many of his masterpieces.
Another delightful lakeside resort on the opposite shore is Bellagio, dubbed the 'pearl of the lake' with its cobbled streets, breathtaking views and glorious villas.
For sports enthusiasts, there is a golf course, tennis court and equestrian centre 20 km from the villa in Menaggio.
Interior Description
The property (400 sqm) is laid out over 4 floors connected by stairs and can accommodate up to 8 people with a total of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The villa has been totally renovated and offers a cosy and colourful interior in a modern style.
On the lower level there is a large games room with wonderful views of the lake, equipped with a pool table, fireplace and large satellite TV (with Sky). Also on this level, there is a laundry room (with washing machine, dryer and professional iron) and a guest bathroom.
On the ground floor there is a bright and modern kitchen, fully equipped with: dining table (for 8 people), dishwasher, oven, fridge, freezer (with ice maker), coffee machine, kettle, extractor, toaster and food processor. Next we find a beautiful living room with dining table, antique fireplace and large windows that illuminate the room in a natural way and open onto the panoramic terrace with lake view.
The upper floors are dedicated to the sleeping area.
On the first floor: 1 double bedroom with lake view and ensuite bathroom with tub, 2 twin bedrooms (with divisible beds) sharing a bathroom with tub and shower.
On the second floor: 1 twin bedroom (with two divisible beds) with ensuite bathroom with bathtub and large shower with chromotherapy and hydromassage.
