Welcome! We are so blessed to be able to share our house with you.
This house is 3600 sq. feet and offers 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and three living room areas to spread out in!
There is a large private fenced in back yard w/ a fire pit to relax by and a large deck with gas grill.
The house is located in a very safe, quiet and lovely cul d’ sac with a beautiful trail next to home.
Grocery stores and restaurants are a quick 5 minute drive away and 494/94 access is minutes away as well.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you need! Dining room table seats 5, kitchen table seats 4 and patio table seats 6- plenty of room to spread out in and feel at home in!
Large private lower level offers living area with TV, desk, bedroom (non-legal) and large bathroom with soaking tub and bedroom.
We are 10 min from St Paul, 15 min from the Mall of America, and 25 min from Minneapolis.
Close to Stillwater and 15 minutes away from the WI border.
MSP airport is 15 minutes away.

Summary: The location, yard, fire pit & back deck area is beautiful! We stayed in October and weather was not very nice, so we did not get to enjoy the outdoor space. It's an older home that is spacious but the rooms are broken up and small. We had plenty of room for our group of 10, but we couldn't be in the same room at the same time. There is a small kitchen table (4) and another larger table (5) in dining room. The living area had seats for 7 and was adequate and there was a formal living room w/ seating, but no television. The house was clean and nice and included a lot of handy amenities such as steamer, iron, laundry room, wash tub, hair dryers, and sample soaps & lotions, all of which came in very handy! The biggest problem we had was the basement bedroom. In MI, it would not be a legal bedroom. We had planned to have our daughter, husband and baby sleep there so they could have their own bathroom and space. But, the bedroom is a ways from the stairs and has just one small window at the ceiling. We were not comfortable w/ them staying in a basement w/ no fire escape. They would've had to break the window and use a ladder to try and climb through. We did end up using the room for a smaller adult that was comfortable with it, but it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. The other issue we had was that since the owners live in this house unless it's rented, they have a lot of cupboards and closets that are locked with their own things in it. That wouldn't be a problem except that we didn't have a single closet upstairs with the 4 bedrooms, where we could hang clothes. The only closets that weren't locked were on the main floor entry way and 1 in the basement. It was very inconvenient. We were there for a wedding so everyone had suits, dresses, etc for the wedding and rehearsal. There was a lot of running up and down stairs to get our clothes. Also, they only had 12 hangers for the entire house but Lizie was very prompt in buying & bringing us more. The kitchen could use some nicer pans & bake ware, although most people probably don't cook as much as we do on vacation. All in all, we had a great time and Lizie was prompt in answering questions & great to work with. Thank you for letting stay in your home!
