This beautiful newly renovated 1 bedroom apartment is located close to everything that Midland has to offer! Enjoy the peace and quiet of this West end family friendly neighbourhood while being only a 2 minute drive to the waterfront and downtown Midland. The apartment is within walking distance to Georgian Bay General Hospital, parks and to Midland's shopping malls. Enjoy all the comforts of home in this fully equipped rental, while exploring all of Georgian Bay's beauty and charm!
The apartment is located in the desirable West end of Midland in a duplex. The rental unit is on the upper floor and has a private entrance. The owners of the duplex live in the lower unit.
This beautiful newly renovated apartment is complete with a kitchen, 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom, a living room and a dining room. The kitchen is equipped with a full sized fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster and other small kitchen appliances. Sheets, pillows and towels are also provided. The house has an extra large driveway where you can park your vehicle and possibly a small watercraft if you are planning to take advantage of the lake! You will need to walk up a set of indoor stairs to access the unit. The unit is also set up with a desk and wifi if you are travelling for business. There are also two smart tv's (one in the bedroom and one in the living room), which you can log into your netflix account to watch shows and movies. The space is ideal for 2 guests, however we do have a pullout couch in the living room for an additional guest or children.
The space has been designed to create a welcoming boho / retro feel. Nicole, the owner of the rental unit is a macrame artist and owner of Willow North Shop. She has handmade most of the wall decor in the unit, which is also for sale. A QR code will be available during your stay if you wish to purchase and take home any of the macrame art in the unit. Guests will have access to the entire upstairs apartment. There is a separate entrance as well. The owners of the duplex live downstairs with their toddler and dog. Therefore, the backyard is off limits to guests as this is the dog/baby play area.
We live downstairs in the lower apartment and are available to assist you if needed. Your privacy is important to us. You may see us around the property with our toddler and our dog.
The rental unit is located in Midland's desirable West end. It is a beautiful family friendly neighbourhood close to schools, parks and the hospital.
You can get around the area by car, on foot, by taxi or by public transit.
Please note, you will be staying above a small family with atoddler and a dog. You may occasionally hear some noise from downstairs. We will try to be as quiet as possible but we do provide earplugs if you are a light sleeper!
Pets are allowed provided they are fully house trained, will not damage the furniture, will not be left alone in the apartment and will not be noisy. A $50 pet fee is required for any extra cleaning needed and if any damage is done to the apartment the guest will be solely responsible for reimbursement.
Out of respect for the neighbours please keep noise to a minimum between 10pm-8am daily.

The maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any given time is 3. Should it be found that there are more than 3 people on the property at any time you will be asked to leave without a refund and you will be charged for the extra guests.
For guests travelling with infants: We have a pack n play and a highchair available. There are also outlet covers in the bedroom closet
