House Evdokia is a traditional Hydreotic house with a cozy, bright & artistic atmosphere. Located over the port of Hydra, in the most privileged spot of the island, offers view to the most amazing sunsets, visible only from this side of the Hydra's town!
Following strictly the traditional Greek Architectural rules, it is decorated by antiques and handcrafted objects. The view from the two verandas is breathtaking and panoramic. The eye stretches over the Saronic gulf, from Spetses island coast to coast to Peloponnese, up to the isle of Dokos, and to the whole port of Hydra. The visitor’s gaze is constantly magnetized. Watching the sun set from the House's verandas is a life time experience! The House is located at the left side entering to the port of Hydra, on top of the Navy School and the Museum of Hydra, across Kountouriotis' House. In just 5' walk down and 10' walk up, you reach heaven.
It sleeps 4 people, but with the extra room at the garden the number of guests raises to 6. The EXTRA bedroom at the garden is booked complimentary, AFTER REQUEST & extra fee.
Both units have their own private entrances and are fully equipped with verandas, WI-Fi, air-condition and kitchen. The laundry isolated at the garden, serving both units.
The main house is consisted by a double-bed bedroom, a big wooden ladder leading to a mezzanine with two single beds, a sitting room, one WC with shower, an open air kitchen, a veranda and a terrace. The outdoor spaces are ideal for breakfast and dinner, overlooking at the port of Hydra. The wide upstairs veranda is ideal for sleeping under the stars!
The extra bedroom is equally equipped, offering autonomy from the main apartment with its own private entrance. It has a sitting space at the garden with outdoor furniture. A kitchenette is included, with refrigerator and a stove for light cooking.
The houses are fully equipped with WI-Fi and air-conditions.
House Evdokia is located in the port of Hydra, one of the fewest houses of Hydra that is very close to the port and has breathtaking view over the port.
The Evdokia house is a self service house. We provide bed linen and bath towels, and a set of change. Laundry machine is included in the house. A cleaning lady may come after request. House Evdokia can be booked from a single person or up to 6 people. You may book only the upper house at the rate of 280 euros per night (4 guests) or book both houses (6 guests) at the rate of 310euros per night. Bookings for longer stays such as monthly are accepted at exceptional rates. The house is ideal for writers as many scripts and poems have been written there already!
