Arbor Lodge Lake House is the perfect location for your Northern Michigan vacation. This updated lodge is in a private, wooded setting.
The home has an open floor plan with a living room, fully equipped kitchen with bar-top seating, and a large dining room table with seating for 10. This area opens up to the deck that has multiple seating areas and a propane grill for guest use. After your adventures of the day, it is the perfect place to wind down.
The main floor has the primary suite with a queen-sized bed and attached private bathroom. This bathroom has a jetted tub and separate shower stall. Additionally, the main floor has a half bath and washer and dryer for guest use. Upstairs is a loft overlooking the living area. The loft features a big screen smart TV, sectional sofa, queen bed, and office desk space. Also, upstairs is a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo and two bedrooms, each with a queen bed.
A quick walk down the road gives access to a private beach and dock on Big Platte Lake. Dock is scheduled to be installed June, 2023 and is only available in the summer. Bring your boat or rent small watercraft nearby for the duration of your stay.
The nearest village is Honor where you will find your local grocery store and the renowned Cherry Bowl Drive-In Theater. This house is also just a few miles from M22, voted the most beautiful scenic drive in the US. M22 connects you to Empire, the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, and all of Leelanau County.
Crystal Mountain Resort is 25 minutes away with year-round seasonal activities including skiing and golf. Traverse City is 45 minutes away.
